Hi sabahking,
I am sorry to hear that you are struggling at your university, could you not ask your friends to help you out? ot why don't you tell your lecturer how you are feeling and that you don't understand the subject, I'm sure he will help you, just try and tell him you are so unhappy about it. I hope it will be o.k. soon.

Don't get nervous buddy.. You are not the only person facing this kind of problem. You said you are getting pressurised by this situation. According to me your problem is nothing but the too much pressure.
All people are not gifted with excellent talents, but the key of success is still in your hand. Don't avoid your studies when they are your barrier. Learn to fight them. You surely can do it, everybody can do it. Just prepare yourself for a fight and go for it. A person can give his best in a pressurized situation.
Don't get sad, take it as a challenge and definately you can do it. Best of Luck. My wish will be with you.

I had found myself in a similar situation when I first came into class 11. The subjects being taught were so radically different from those of the previous classes that I was literally at sea. I couldn't understand what was being taught and when I finally understood one scrap of it, the class would have advanced by quite a few chapters. It was really an agony. But I used to ask a lot of questions to my teachers, some of them satisfactorily answered, some of them not. But I think what helped me out more was that I learned to make certain assumptions. I knew that not all of my doubts can be quenched so I just assumed some facts of the chapters to be true and just built upon them through the rest. If there was a scrap of an idea which I couldn't understand, I just relegated it to memory and continued with the rest. That saved me a lot of futile brain exercise and I could finally keep up with my studies. I know how you're feeling at the moment. You're simultaneously not feeling up to attacking those indomitable subjects of yours and feeling guilty because of the precious time you're wasting. I suggest you to just charge ahead through the course. If you started getting some part of it done, you won't be feeling so bad about doing some other things. And also, search for a personal tutor who can pay all his attention to your problems and try to solve them. I benefitted from some good tutors also. Hope I've been of some help. Cheers.
