There are lots of things about the site that you will learn from other members. We have asked admin to make a better comprehensive list of mylot facts but it hasn't happened yet. You will get access to the 'mylot code' when you reach 200 posts....that's the bold, italics, underline and all the smilies . You will be able to use copy/paste when you reach 500 posts. Just be sure to use it properly! These things sometimes don't automatically become available as soon as you reach the respective milestones. The system will give them to you as soon as it can though...you may reach 210 before the system has a chance to update and give you the code, for example. Any other questions? Feel free to ask away. It's better to ask and be sure than to just guess on things and wind up in trouble.

You can't copy/paste until you reach 500 posts and the smileys are either 300 or 500. I don't remember which. I tend not to use them unless the poster has at least 100 because I know they can't see them (just the code) and it seems confusing and pointless. You can, however, upload a photo in a new discussion now, just not in a response until that magic 500 number. The rest you will learn as you go along. I will brush you up with all important facts.Here I go, #You get a star on reaching a minimum of 100 posts,which is nothing but your reputation.This will depend on how others have rated you. #You can start using similes[a maximum of 3 per response] once you reach 200 posts. #Once you reach 500 posts,you get the double benefit. *You can add an image to your responses just like you add image to your discussion while starting it. *You can also copy/paste,once you reach a minimum of 500 posts.This is to prevent spamming.This can be very helpful in case of error pages.Some times,you receive error messages when you post responses,or there may be a power cut,or something like that.So,you can guard yourself,by backing up the typed responses by copying it. *This is also really helpful to copy/paste news discussions.But,please don't abuse this privilege. brand new user here. I've been seeing the smiley's from the moment I got on but was wondering how to use them. i guess I can't yet. someday i might quit answering and post something new. in the meantime i have a couple new friends that I haven't even read yet and they need a couple responses too, i'll wager
