A friend of mine asked me this question, in reality I would guess it is a riddle, and it has been bugging me since he asked it (I have seen some people think it isn't PC to talk about this, but I am just asking the question not in any way trying to offend anyone). The question is"How does a mute person ask a blind person for a glass of water? I have thought this over and come up with no answer and have searched on the internet and have come up with nothing. Does anyone know the answer?

In a perfect world, they would both know sign language. However, a form of sign would still work. The Mute person would form the Blind persons hand into a shape as if they were holding a glass and then gently guide it to their mouth. That should get the message to them. Shalom~Adoniah

Yes, that would be the logical way, but like I answered above I tend to think this is some sort of trick question, so I don't think your answer is what is expected. Thank you for your help all the same..

I am trying to figure out whether or not I should just flat out give you the answer, or better yet- give you a hint haha. A mute person, think about it. Their is more then one definition of "mute" and a "mute" can be a type of person, whether than a person who decides to chose to be quiet. Does that make sense?

I understand what you are saying, but I forgot to tell you something, the question was asked in Spanish and at the end the guy told me the answer is in the question itself, so I kind of think it is a trick question and I don't know if part of it's meaning is lost in the translation.
