So the antivirus r u using really protects your computer . A month ago I was experiencing a problem with my windows . Its was stucking so much . So I format it and install a new windows with the Norton antivirus co-opp orate edition . I did several whole pc scans but it did not fetch any virus . After installing windows with in few day my computer became so slow that I could not even run multiple programs . I was wondering that my pc has the specification to run better i.e having 128 mb graphic card , 160 HHD , 1 Gb ram so why not getting the perfect pc performance . So I took out my hard disk , go to my cousins house and put in his pc . As I connect my HHD his antivirus i.e AVG immediately point out the virus in my computer . From now on I am also using a AVG and running a faster pc . . .
IF you r also experiencing a slow pc problem so try a new antivirus . ..
Now my AVG license key is about to expire so I may consider a new antivirus which meet the same criteria .. .
So what would you recommend . ..

AVG 8.0 still offers a free version, visit their site. Installing and antivirus is not a guarantee that we will not be infected these are merely tool that we have to use, meaning we have to do our part too. When ever it detect something it will prompt you of what to do next - clean, quarantine, prevent access or ignore. Selecting the last option is a sure way of infestation.
Virus these days are getting stealthier, sneaky and nasty, it is very important that they are updated regularly, there are times that I could receive 3 updated notifications from my AV. Missing one of this and with such luck you visit a site that has it then your AV will not know about it and allow it to invade your system.
Safe web practices should always be employed when browsing sites we don't know.
