Is it just me or..... ?

My lot users are from all around the world. You can not expect everyone to use the right grammar. Hope you can understand my post :-)

Hello Daphers and welcome to myLot. I've been here for a good 2 years now and really have come across just a few that I can't really understand. We have a lot of people from all over the world. some come here to hone their English skills. Most of them do pretty good. I just do as the responder before me does. I read the discussion a couple of times and if I still don't understand what they are trying to say then i just move on. I hope that you enjoy your time here.

MyLot has many people from all over the world, and it's hard for some to spell some english words. But I understand what they are saying. If I don't understand it I reread the post and try to figure out. You'll get the hang of it. After a while you understand what they are saying.

daphers hi you have to remember that a lot of our discussions are done by people who dont have English as their first language so they are learning to write and speak English. so they will perhaps use wrong tenses, etc in their disucssions. I dont think half of the discussions are hard to understand. What really irks me is those by p eople fluent in English who make discussions like this Hi, whatsup, and that is the whole discussion.So I suggest if you cannot understand one discussion go on to others, dont be too hard on people with english as their second language also some of our users forget where they are and are using what I call textese, as though they are on a cell phone where u stands for you, and etc. to those of us who do not text message we do not know the abbreviations and I c annot decipher a lot of their discussions.
