you prefer happy ending or sad story?

To me it don't really matter anymore how the story ends, as long as it was a worthwhile book or movie. The endings I really dislike are the ones that leave a person confused or wondering what the heck happened to the characters. Those drive me batty, unless it's a series of books that I am reading. So as long as it has good beginning, middle, and a satisfying outcome, it don't bother me to much if it was sad.

i think it is the tempo and build up of the story which decides its end.suppose it is about a bad man, then you expect a sad ending. if about good, then they lived happily ever after is the thing. bye and happy my lotting.

There have been movies which have a sad ending as well, and they also appealed to me a lot be cause the sadness which they showed was not the kind that would make you feel bad. Although most of the times I prefer movies with a happy ending rather than a sad one. It feels good to see a movie and feel happy afterwards because you just saw something that made you happy. bourne

Hai, I'm also like happy ending when i watch a movie. It depend on my mood. But usually alway see happy ending story. I dont like sad ending also...

there are too many sad stories in real life. so i want happy endings and not necessarily fairy tales but some that are feasible and happy to give hope in real life. because there can be happy endings in real life too and we have to open minded to them.
