I wonder what significance is behind the usernames we have picked for ourselves. I will go first. My reason for using finlander60 is because I am of Finnish descent, and at the time of my joining of MyLot I was 60 years of age. Would anyone else care to comment? Thank you in advance.

My username as MUDDYFORD, comes from my tennage years when I was young and dumb and would tear up a perfect running Ford by thrashing through the mud.

That is an interesting way to get a name. I wish you had thrashed a Chevy instead of a Ford, though. I like Ford's in case you couldn't tell. Thank you.

Elemental Dragon is an alias I've used since some of my earliest days on the internet. Most of the places that require a profile or membership I've been able to use it on, but there have been a few places that it was already taken. So, it's not necessarily a unique alias. For me, the alias stems primarily from my interests in dragons and thunderstorms.
The avatar I typically use with it (and am currently using) is one I designed myself to represent the alias. Again, it's been around a while, but not quite as long as the alias.

I retired as a MSgt after serving in the Marine Corps for more than 21 years, and since jarhead is an old affection term for Marine, I'm Ldyjarhead everywhere online.

There really isn't much significance behind my user name. I use that particular username on different things around the Internet. Barbara is my real first name (not that I go by that out in the world) and I had to pick a number for one of the usernames, and I picked 42 because that was the year I was born. I had never really had a real reason to use it. But it is easy to remember.

my username doesn't really have any meaning to it, it was available for a username for something else a long time ago, and instead of having all these different user names for different sites and such, i just decided to make them all the same

Hi Finlander, you know me. I am using Garden Gerty everywhere just about that I go online. I used to do clowning, and Garden Gerty was my last personification. I liked her, she was gentle, kind, in an earthy way, more or less.

Oh for me its just an acronym for my real name the 101 is just an extension to make things a lil bit longer.
I have been using the rsa initials for almost all of my accounts but it differs from the extended numerical figures. But mostof it starts with rsa.

My mylot name is my real name.
The name was given to me by my Da
after his favorite aunt.
My aunt said she was crazy because she threw herself
off a cliff into the ocean but my father said she was just
heartsick because her love was lost at sea and she wanted to be with him.
My dear Da was a romantic!

I love the bourne books by Robert Ludlum and all the three parts of my name are the names of the character of the book, Jason Bourne. Bourne, Cain, and Delta are his names and they all are arranged alphabetically in my username. So that's that.

I've always enjoyed Sherlock Holmes stories as a child. His name just popped into my head the day I decided to get involed on this site. I'm a female and I think the name throws people off a little, but that's part of a mystery.

My name magojordan is from mago which is Spanish for magician and Jordan my real name. I admire a lot of Latin American and Spanish magicians that's why I used that word instead of the English one. Also since I speak Spanish too it adds up to my character
