I just got through watching "America's Got Talent" myself. I loved the ventriloquist and the last lady that sang. I have been watching "Nashville Star" too. I watch "Ghost Hunters" and "Naked Archaeologist" regularly. I also enjoy the 48 Hrs. Mystery shows.

Stop paying for so many channels then I say. Hahahahaha! get a radio and listen to that instead. It's free mostly. Anyhow I have DierctTV and have over 1290 channels so there is always something interesting to watch at any hour of the day. I mostly watch the Discovery Channel, History Channel, and National Geographic Channel.

i know exactly how you feel because sometimes i wonder why on earth am i watching television. Most of the times I spend the time watching sports. There are about 6 sporting channels on my cable and these are tthe channels that i watch most of the time. at nights my wife would watch those shows that they have all over the place, she would say that there are so many of them she doesn't know which one to watch and sometimes can't keep up.
I guess what u will have to do is to treat watching television like you would do with your job. Keep a schedule of the things that you like to watch and the time that it plays so that you would know when to put that box on. otherwise i would suggest that u spend the time on the internet learning something or making money with mylot.

I was just having this same conversation with my husband. I find myself watching movies I haven't seen n a while. Although, there are quite a few tv shows that are currently showing new episodes that I DVR. I watch the Law and Order: Criminal Intent, the first 48, the Closer and Saving Grace. I watch a couple new shows like the Cleaner and In plain sight. Weeds is back on its new season and I watch that too. Summer is not that bad it helps me get re-acquainted with movies I have seen before and I have also started watching comedies that I've never seen before like King of Queens. I had never watched that show before and it just happened to be on and now I am a new fan of the show.

I watched Wipeout last night on ABC. I'm not usually one for ridiculous programs, but it was ridiculous in the best way possible. I called my dad and finally got him to promise to watch it. I knew he would laugh his head off. So when it was over I called my parents house, and my mom answered. I could hear my dad laughing in the background. He really enjoyed it. It is a bunch of mindless fun.

We only have local basic channels on out television. We do not have cable or anything like that. America's Got Talent is on our channels also. The only shows that I usually watch is Mamas Family, Cops and Americas Most Wanted. I don't watch a whole lot of tv anymore. We do rent Netflix movies monthly though. We can watch all kinds of new movies and older ones too.

I've some people in my family mention the channel thing too. I don't mind because I always find something to watch. There's usually at least one movie on that I haven't seen. So I watch a lot of the Starz and Encore channels. I'm watching the High School Musical show too. And I'm into Project Runway. I also spend some time watching reruns of my favorite shows.

I watch Americas Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance and reruns of House, Bones, Law & Order. I also watch In Plain Sight and Flash Point. I can always find something to watch if I want to watch TV. I don't have Bravo and Starz and all the movie channels, just basic satellite here.

Hi my friend,
I know, I am like you, I hate summer television schedules. Because I'm on the same schedule as my hubby, I don't get up till 2pm so I always dvd my three soaps that I watch every day. I can watch them at night or usually there is a Cub's baseball game on and I can't miss that. I do watch America's Got Talent. I really like that show but other than that, there isn't much to watch in the summer.
Happy MyLotting,
Char

I usually watch a lot of the reruns of CSI, Law and Order, and those types of shows or watch a movie on the starz channel. I enjoy watching Project Runway and Shear Genius on BravoTV and any HGTV shows like Design to sell, color splash, and others like that.

Having 2 boyz, it is Disney during the day, or Nickelodeon. After they go to bed, it is my time! ARMY WIVES is my all time favorite on Sunday nites, along with Scrubs too. HGTV BET ( movies) and FOOD NETWORK are fav's too. Game shows too. Also have others I can't think of right now, so no, there is no shortage of stuff for me to watch.
