Do you remember GOD only when you're in trouble!!??!!

i think most people only think of God when something is wrong but i think of Him even when things are good. especially thank Him alot when things are good cause when they are good they are really good and when things are bad i ask Him for help and guidance.

I think about God alot. I mean, yes, when problems arise, I tend to pray more. But I also think about him when I see my kids smile because I know he gave me them who I consider to be my greatest blessings from God. When I get to talk to my parents, I think of God because he gave me the best parents that anyone could have ever asked for. I tend to see God in everyone and everything that I see. He is everywhere to me.

I pray when I am in trouble and when things are going great. But, I don't feel as if I pray enough. I do find myself praying more passionately when I am going through rough times though. Also, I keep a journal and a few times I week, will write my prayers as I pray them.

No, when I get happiness, I also thanks for the god! Yes, when we get in trouble, we often hope the god help us, however, when we get the gift ,we should not forget the god too, I think!

I can't say that I am a very religious person but I always remember what God has done for us.I remember Him when my life becomes engulfed in a sudden storm but the faith in Him had given me strength to go on then.I often remind myself about all the things he has done for me, He gave me breath of life, blessed me with family and loved ones,friends food,job,shelter,so much more.I thank Him for giving me an understanding partner.I thank Him for every good or bad, because after every bad situation also there is a ray of hope, if you put your trust in God, and that hope will draw us even closer to Him, no matter how bad things get in my life I will always remember God and His grace.

In my house, we say a prayer of thanksgiving for our blessings and then pray for help in times of trouble.

I think of God more than in just troubled times. I give thanks to him for the many blessings I have. I also thank God when a near miss when I am driving. He is a ever loving God and I never forget that. I don't go to church and worship in a church but that doesn't mean that I don't believe. I do believe and thank God everyday for the blessings he showers down on me and they are many.

Though I'm not a Christian, I too am sometime guilty of it. Its only when some problems happen then I will start turning to God hoping disaster will be averted. Sometimes I get lucky but most of the times I don't. I came across this thought that if I don't dedicate my precious time dedicating to remembering and appreciating God for the good things you have in life, will God listened to your pleadings for His help when there are others who constantly remembers God and plead for His assistance in overcoming the problems they face in life?

I see God and think of him and thank him every day. I see things happen in our lives that have to be God's will in action, and have learned to watch for what I feel are signs that he gives us so that we will make the right choices.

When I was younger, I didn't think about God much at all except sometimes in when I was in trouble. When I had children, in my early 30's, I became acutely aware of His hand in my life and since then I think of Him often during the day. I take care to thank Him immediately for the good things that happen to me and the bad, too, because everything happens for a reason that usually turns out to be the best. I probably say short prayers at least three times a day and then I have time with Him as I'm waiting for sleep to come. His presence in my life is comforting, uplifting and gives me strength. It's like having a father at my side all day and night, one who loves me as I love my own two children.

I think about this a lot and when I do I give thanks for just being alive. In fact I just did right now. Seriously I know we ask upon the creator when we are in need and sometimes we forget when we are doing better, to give thanks for the blessings. I try to remember this always! Great topic!

This is true in my case most of the time. I don't pray at all, only when I really need divine intervention. But at least I don't doubt God as well. I just feel the need to talk to Him more when I'm really in dire straits. I guess this kind of attitude is not what He would want from me. But despite my lack of complete faith, I'm very God fearing. And I try to do what's right all the time.

I remember to thank him every couple of days,and especially when I"m scared or in big trouble.
