I love indie music. It feeds me more than most of the mainstream music. I haven't heard of the bands that you mentioned, but I will look into them. Well, I know who Feist is. And I really like the song 1,2,3,4.

Yessss it is definitely more satisfying than mainstream, & I can actually listen to it a sufficiant amount of plays without getting bored. What stuff do you listen to??

I like 'indie' music.
I love Metric and bands with a similar dancey rock sound (like the Faint and Kill Hannah). I listen to Stars a bit, but not a lot.
I think the term 'indie' has different connotations for different people. Some people think indie is just any band on an independent label. Some think it's a particular sound of the music. The term is just used in different ways, but I guess in general I do like indie music, whether it's being used in either of those ways.
