Man it is nearly dead here recently

Hi grandpa. It's rainy season here in the Philippines. As for the discussions, I only respond to those discussions that I can relate to. The one's that I can give my best views, help, advice and opinions. The oldest discussion that I have responded recently was posted 3 months ago. Keep posting. Take care. HUGZ!

hi Grandpa Bob I am on here all the time but am missing some of my friends, mooch for one, I feelso bad that she let those people bully her into leaving. i did not think she would do that. well thats the past. I think I have responded ]to mostof your posts to day as I always enjoy them so much.Ihave not taken a break as I am still fighting the last remnants of shingles and mylotting makes me take my mind off my itches and puts it on more pleasant things. The oldest discussion I have responded to was two years old and still getting responses. I am so surprised, my first ever discussion had bombed but now I actually have three responses to it.so how about that.One of my newer ones has something like fifty responses. and one of my first has some new responses so people are digging for something to respond to now.

Hi Grandpa Bob I am away from here a lot at the moment as I have to finish writing my Book that I started 2 years ago also I need a break from here I will pop in and out but not here as much lol I know that there seem to be a lot of People backing of at the moment and having a break and I guess they are enjoying the nice weather while they can

I agree some of my older ones are getting responses now as well there are just not alot of good discussions to respond to right now. I guess people are enjoying their summers. I havent been as active due to my computer being slow but it crashed yesterday so now I have a new computer so its better now. It sucks cause now im broker than broke Andy better be getting a good bonus check or we are in trouble.

I try to come to Mylot every day of the week. I am still getting alot of discussions in my email inbox daily. I have had alot going on in my household lately though. My daughter has to have surgery soon to get a cyst removed from her ovary. We had to take her to the emergency room the other day. I haven't been getting many responses to a discussion I have made either. I don't know if alot of members are behind, gone or what. I have seen some of my old discussions lately, getting responded to also. I don't recall what it was about though. I think it was about the internet working better for me at night time. I do take breaks from Mylot every so often though. I have to give my brain a rest. I work alot of sites seven days a week. I stay wore out.

Hi Grandpa! Firstly I would apologize for being absent and hence so many of your much much interesting discussions were missed for that I am really sorry. Well, you are true in a way that people have certain personal engagements other than mylot. I have been unable to do so for certain reasons .... much tight schedule at job of course and having a Sunday free there are many other domenstic chores, my family and children etc.... alongwith my wife ;) hahaha Thanks.

HI Grandpa B, been active for the past 3 months only so the oldest post which I got and which was responded lately were 2-3 months old! For the past 2 weeks, I am responding to my friend's post which are a year older...It's fun really doing it since I wasn't here by the time they are posting those and I have noticed that people who were responding those topics are no longer active today! Sad!

It is a very busy time of year.....and there is so much catching up to do on the yard etc...and people are off traveling or doing fun things too! I just think it has something to do with the time of year!

My inbox tells me that there's plenty of new discussions been happening these last few days! I've been away at the other house again, and I've come back to literally hundreds of My Lot notificiations. I think I'm just going to have to delete the majority, as there's no way I can deal with them all. There's just the odd one or two catching my eye though, as I'm so easily distracted! I occassionally respond to old discussions myself, but I haven't for a while just because I've been so busy. There's one of my old ones I keep getting replies to at the moment though. I suppose one person responds, then it appears at the top if you're reading a similar discussion.

I am one of the people here that doesn't respond to discussions that I can't relate to. I don't give much responses lately to give myself more time to think of new ideas to share to everyone. Hi Grandpa Bob I've only been been here at MyLot for a month but even I have seen a change the past week or so. When I first came here, I could respond or start a discussion, and then go back and find something new, interesting and different to talk about. Lately, there are discussions that start with just one line, or ask a question but don't go into detail or even answer their own question before posting, and excuse me, but dumb posts. I'm hoping the members that have been here a long time (like you) start spicing up the discussion board. Maybe your right, most of them are busy doing summertime things and don't have time to come to MyLot. I've answered a couple older discussions. The oldest I think was about 2 months old. It kind of felt weird because the best response had been chosen and I felt like I was posting for nothing. Happy MyLotting, Char

well I havent been on here a lot this week due to work and my internet being down. But, my thing is that I post a lot of discussions on here that dont get any responses to it. So in some aspect I have given up on posting any new discussions. I dont see the point in doing that if people wont respond. It is a waste of time and space to post something that mylotters will not respond to. But, that is just my opinion.

Hi Grandpa Bob, I am not sure why it is deead around here. I know that this is the time of year that lots of families go on vacations, go to the beaches, go on long bike rides, cook outs, Block Parties, Yard Sales. I am sure that when they get back they will get all caught up and be chatting up a storm! Sorry i dont have a answer to any of your other questions! Have a great day!

Could that mean that less people are posting new discussions now? Maybe people are responding more and not putting up new discussions? Everything is new to me but I just got here a few days ago. I hardly know what to say here yet because I don't know anyone very much yet.

I do take breaks every now and then. I was gone for a few months not long ago. Normally though I am just gone for a few days. I don't know if you would call it a break. I just get busy doing other things and don't get on here. I answered a discussion that was a year old recently. I probably have answered older ones and just don't remember.

Hi there Grandpa Bob. I agree it is VERY quiet around here and many of my Friends are not posting much this week. Is everyone on vacation?? I try to avoid really old discussions because I can't always remember if I already repsonsded to them, LOL.

Hi Grandpa Bob. I have been offline since school finished in June and have been spending time with my son. I also had visitors from New Zealand for two weeks and they tired me out bigtime. I have only just logged back in this week and have also noticed how quiet it has been. I actually did receive responses to a few discussions of mine that were 6 months old and have only responded to them this week. I hope to be a little more active now that things are slowing down a bit for us. My son still has his second lot of swimming lessons but that doesn't start till next month and then he's back to school September 2nd. Hope all is well with you :)

Hi GRANDPA BOB! I have not been that active in mylot for the past week although I am able to log in everyday, still I only have a few minutes each time I do. My own laptop is not in working condition and needs to be repaired so I have just been using my husband's computer at the moment. I can only use it when he is on a break with his computer work. And so I can't respond to many discussions as much as I want to and haven't made any discussions of my own either. That is why my old discussions are also being revived again and they are more than a year old. haha.. Take care and God Bless!

I have recently had responses from old discussions, too, from people I don't know--that's good, that means the newbies are looking around or the established members are paging through for things that interest them. It is slow, I've noticed. I will try to respond to all my friends and if I have time will go through the ones with no responses and the newbies. But if I have nothing to add or I know nothing about the subject, I won't say anything. Sometimes I'm pressed for time and can't reply to more than one discussion from each of my friends, especially if it's an active day on myLot!

it seems slow to me to since I first started mylotting! My oldest discussions are only a month and a half old. Someone respond to my no response discusssion from when I first started yesterday. I found one discussion I responed to that was a year old. I did not realize it until after I posted.
