My favorite breed is the Irish Setter. They're darn cute as pups, and as adults ... well, they are breathtaking. Also, as an adult, it's a fabulous dog for the right owner. Most people aren't the right owner, though, and if I were asked, I know I wouldn't recommend one to anyone who hadn't fully researched the breed. It is a dog that essentially remains a puppy forever.
Some others that interest me, in no particular order are:
Greyhound
Collie
Shetland Sheepdog
Papillon (it's gonna be my purse-dog when I'm an old lady) ...I'M KIDDING! But I do like them.
Viszla
Pharaoh Hound
Doberman (now THAT'S a DOG!)
Great Dane
Blue Picardy Spaniel (pretty rare in the US and hard to find info on)
There are others, too.
I have some experience with the Collie and the Greyhound, and I own an Irish ... the others are the ones I read about and add to my lifetime doggie wish-list!

Well, I dont like small dogs. They are cute but we need protection and I doubt that they can scare people.:) I love big dogs. I love german shepherd and most of all the Siberian Husky. I really love it. How I wish I could own one someday!

My favorite is the Chinese shar pei. They're so cute especially as puppied. I like the saggy and wrinkley skin look on them the most. Unlike bulldogs, they're quite playful and active as well. The shar pei is a medium sized dog, but in terms of bigger dogs, I'd go with a chow chow for cutest over all look. The fur is a big plus. It makes the chow chow look like a lion-bear.
