Square cut or round cut for manicure?

If you're doing manicure, would you prefer a square cut of your fingernails? or smooth round cut? and why? As for me, i prefer square cut. But to have a square cut manicure, i can't keep long fingernails, as they're causing me problems when putting on contact lenses. How about you?

I prefer square cut since it looks more stylish and formal. But I always bite my nails so it tends to be round. Now I've bitten my nails so much it doesn't even have a shape anymore. :( I never had problems putting on contact lenses before but I guess if your nails are too long then you might poke your eye or scratch your contacts.

I had always preferred smooth, round nails. I always give myself a cut or a scratch whenever my nails have sharp edges. I also end up nibbling on it too.
. When I had a kid, I've never had the chance to let my nail grow long for fear of hurting my baby. The most I do at the parlor is have a good cleaning and keep them short.

hi jammy, if u have the habit of nibbling on ur nails, maybe it's wiser to keep ur nails. then prohibit u from biting on them. i've to agree with u that, i tend to scratch or cut mostly my face or neck if there's sharp edges on my nails. :p so needless to say if u've a baby. scratching ourselves is better than hurting the baby.

Square cut made my hands look ugly.

I used to get round cut until my cousin gave me square cut and ever scence I always get is square cut. I like it better.

I love the square cut! It's so trendy and it seems to me they dont break as easily as with the round cut! I love manicures!

Hi there, I love square cut because I think square cut is more stylish! Somehow smooth round cut is just too "lady" to me! Haha...I am using my index finger and thumb to remove my contact lens, so basically I will not keep long fingernails for these 2 fingers.

I am doing square cut.
Why?
Just feel more comfortable with it.
Regarding the smooth round cut same like in my grandmother times them do it ;)
