dream BIG! and you will succeed. The pros for starting our own business of course outweights all the cons. Initially, we might have to work much harder than if we were to stay in a full-time job. However, there is a difference in the two. The latter will cause one to be forever in the rat race, living from one paycheck to the next, with no way out. But for those in business, as long the marketing strategy is good, business is good, you are comfortable. Secondly, no boss! That's the nicest part of owning your own business. Well, if you are interested in being your own boss at a low investment cost, feel free to email me at fusionexpress@gmail.com Good luck!

Hmm... this fusionexpress@gmail.com thing you are trying to push, is it a MLM kind of program? Does it require an upfront payment of any kind before you can join them? How long have you been with them? Is the sales really that easy to get to keep you staying on in the program?

i started my business before. i put on hold for awhile but i loved the idea of being my own boss. i manage my time and plan everything. anyway, what business are you planning to set up? there are several businesses that you can start with minimal capital. why not start with a sideline? explore the things that you love (your hobbies) and go from there. that way, it has little or no capital requirement at all. (preferably service-oriented business). if you're planning to do software business, better make a portfolio.

I started my first business a few years younger than you are now and was self employed, on and off, for 40 years. You work a lot harder when you work for yourself and so you need a very understanding wife who will take the ups and downs. My advice, for what it is worth, is to keep in control and on top of your bills, especially tax bills. It is too easy to put things off for a few months and then they can catch up with you at the worst time. You will need to have confidence in your bank and your accountant but don't trust them completely. Avoid getting too friendly with your employees. Of course keep on good terms with them but don't trust them too much either. As said above, start part time and keep your day job to pay your bills. Only give up your day job when you simply don't have enough hours in the day to keep both satisfied. Good luck.

Your situation is similar to mine. I am also an IT professional and I am also trying to set up my own business. I suggest that you can take advantage of your technology to set up one automated system to generate money for you. This is what I am doing. Good luck!

I too am an IT professional and have the similar plans as yours. But i too have a little knowledge about legalities and other aspects of starting a business. As far as i have reasearched the most important factors are Taxes and Legal registration of business. Always keep a lawyer and a CA and if they are friends, you can trust them better
