Who is running ?

I wonder if there is somebody who started to run about 2000 Meter, had a weekly exercise plan and could go 10000 Meter now ? What are your experiences ? How much time went by before reaching your goals ? Was it all about time or distance ?

Well, I have some experience in running, currently run maybe 14k a day. The buildup always takes time and patience. How many days a week do you run? My standard advice would be to add maybe 5 minutes every day you run, every week. This in general seems to be a good amount that is not too hard, and allows your body to adapt to the changes and avoid injury.

Hi Dan, I am running every second day. Once a week I try to go long distance like 10K and the other times I am running a max of 5K but faster then. I heard that it doesn`t make sense to go long distance every time. That 5 min adding sounds good. Thanks for your reply.

hmm it took me abt 4months.. i aimed for 4 KM.. n practiced for it.. n then i did a 2000 meter now i run 8K average
