Well honestly I don't like my hair.I was not born with a straight and beautiful hair.Mine is actually a wavy type of hair. But as far as I can remember my hair was straight when I was young. Probably due to some chemicals or hair products my hair changed its texture and I am suffering this wavy hair I have.I've to rebond my hair just to have this black brown long straight hair and I even asked my boyfriend to give me a hair iron as a valentine gift. That's how desperate I am to have a straight. I guess people are just not contented with what they have. Some have straight hair and they wanted to have a curly hair..Some have a curly hair and wants a straight hair. I guess I will not abuse my hair anymore by rebonding my hair or ironing my hair..it's already too much for my hair.I know it's our crowning glory.I don't want to get bald by using all the hair products and rebond my hair every 6 months and iron my hair everyday so that my hair will always look straight...I'll go natural.;p Happy mylotting to all.ciao.;p

My hair is naturally curly and I desperately want it to be straight. I keep it short these days because I hate my curls.

Don't hate your curls.Just love your hair no matter how curly it is.Probably since we already have this kind of hair what we can do is look for a style to make it look beautiful. Happy posting.:p

I used to have natural wavy hair that I like it was manageable that was back in the days. But now since I have been coloring it way to much it's fried all frizzy and dried out. I have tried to put hot oils in it just to bring back the softness to it but nothing seems to work. I will have to gradually just let it grow out and hope for the best. My hair dresser told me to much process chemicals, blow drying, krimping, curling irons, ect are not good for your hair. I will start takeing her advice fopr now I have to wait a long time just to get my beautiful hair I once had back. I wish you the best of luck with your hair and may it do what you want it to.

Well now I am already contented with my hair though it's already long and the wavy hair started growing.I still have the longest part for my hair which is straight due to rebond and I guess I'll just have to cut it short well just a little short only so that the split ends will be cut as well. I just envy those people who has a straight hair.sigh. :c Thanks for posting remembering1996.

Right now my hair type is curling and I dont like it. I always wanted to make my hair straight but I have failed every time because when my hair grows up a little bit then it changes from straight to curling. In that case I have to go to saloon for a haircut. As long as my hair is short I face no problem but whenever it grows up I cant manage it, it becomes horrible for me to manage my hair, then I have to use expensive gel to manage my hair which is not so good for hair and scalp, So I keep my hair short.

LOL.I used the word "horrible" also when I had my hair super short and decided to make it long..I had to avoid the mirror bec. you know how hair is like when it's growing esp.if it came from a short hair and it started grow..I barely look at the mirror bec. I hate the way I look.To have a long hair you really have to be patient and since mine was already gone through a rebond.I see the wavy hair growing and I think..."it's horrible now". Thanks for posting y2ksuprio.;p

I actually lose a lot of hair..I have so many falling hair esp.after shower I've noticed that I have so many hair on the floor and when I comb my hair it leaves a lot hair too.So I've decided not to have a rebond and just let it grow naturally even if I know that I have a wavy hair.:c Thanks for posting koolkate.;p

i was born with a straight and beautiful hair, all of my brothers and sisters too. It's still straight now but a little dry. Because i'm an active kid back then. Always playing under the sun. And then i joined high school cadet training, where we do platoon/company formations even at noon. My hair got prone to split ends then and it turned brown. It was jetblack before.^_^ nonetheless, i didn't do anything yet to fix the dryness. I'm still wearing that a little damaged hair. My officemates said it's still pretty and looks like i had a rebond but then sometimes they would notice the waves because i usually tie them in a bun. If i had a rebond, i could forget how to do it because i will not risk putting that thousand bucks cost of rebonding into waste. Good thing i don't have that thousand bucks.^_~ to date, i think most of the damage was caused aside from exposing my hair to direct sunlight right after taking a bath, is too much use of shampoo. No conditioner at all. But mine's too thick, i need a lot of shampoo everytime i wash it, and i wash it daily.

wos blu_thr3e do take care of your hair.If that hair was mine..I would use conditioner everyday just to have a shiny and silky straight hair.Just go to the parlor and have the ends cut to remove the split ends.Men..I wish I have the kind of hair you have now..well except for the splitends.;p Happy mylotting blu_thr3e.;p

I love my natural dark brown hair color and how black looks very pretty shiny . My hair has a bit of curl to it and i have to flat iron it . Getting natural curls is so hard and it just will frizz unless i take so much time on it . I would love to hair it dry bone straight

Well at least you have a nice hair color.Ironing the hair is bad if you have to do it everyday..well I am guilty about that.Because when I had my hair rebonded..I iron my hair everyday just to maintain the straight look of my hair..now since it's too long..I am so tired to iron my hair...plus it adds up to the electric bill.lol.

Well I guess we'll have to love our hair..even if we rebond or make some treatment to our hair..it will still grow as curly or wavy like before.. For your hair why don't you use a mousse so that it will not look untidy..too bad for us our hair is not straight..anyway...as they say it's our crowning glory.Happy mylotting subha12.;p

WHen I was a teen I didn't like my hair - but then again since when do teenagers like anything they have ? LOL My hair also changed throughout the years, It was quite straight and silky. As I grew up it became really curly and frizzy, now it's kind of in between curly and wavy - more to the curly side though :) and I love it. The changes in my hair had nothing to do with chemicals or iron or even hair dryer since I keep it short and let it air dry unless I have no choice but to use the dryer. It's just the way it is I suppose. My daughter also had straight hair as a small kid. It started getting curly at around 8 or 9 years old. Now it's basically wavy and guess what? She doesn't like it either LOL

That's the conclusion my daughter reached as well :) She now doesn't straighten is as much as she used to leaving it loose and wavy most times. It actually looks really nice on her of course and she's learning to see it :)

Your daughter and I both hate our hair.lol. Well the bottom line of my discussion is that..we are already lucky to have a hair than no hair at all..some doesn't have a hair and here we are complaining about hair..;p Now I am contented with my hair.I'll just have to deal with this wavy hair.tsk. :c

yes i agree that we will not be satisfied with what we have. my sister has natural curl but she keeps on rebonding her hair. i have straight hair but i've permed my hair quite a few times. now i only let my hair grow out. i have not done anything to my hair for the last five years except trim them to be less messy. i used to have jet black hair but all the chemical has turned my hair brow. now i'll just let my hair rest and hopefully i'll get my jet black hair back. cheers ;p

Good for you applefreak.;p For one I want to die my hair and have it rebonded again but I let my hair rest for awhile..I don't care now if the wavy hair are growing I know how to hide them anyway and still feel good about the way I look. But are times that I can't help but envy those people who has beautiful straight hair. But I tell myself that I am still lucky because I have hair unlike other people who are suffering from hair loss.I believe those people don't care if they have a wavy or kinky or straight hair.So I still consider myself lucky also. Thanks for the post.;p

i don't like my hair type because it's wavy. i look like a witch if i didn't comb lol but i do love my hair color, it is chestnut brown i can also remember that i have a straight hair when i was a kid but it became wavy when my father cuts my hair very short when i was 11 or 12 that time. since then, i started to go to salon to make my hair straight every 6 months lol but right now, i also stop

I am not sure how I feel about my hair. There are some things that I like about it, and some things that I hate about it. My hair is a thick, poofy, wavy mass. When it is short, it curls up, and when it is long, the weight of it pulls the curls out and it is wavy. My hair is practically black, but in the summer, it starts turning a reddish-brown. Recently, I am getting pure white hair growing in. Not in strands, but in large patches! I know that this happens to a lot of people as they get older, but this started when I was seventeen, and I am only eighteen now. But, this happens to several people on my mother's side of the family, just usually not so early.

My hair actually has thick strands and they had a hard time rebonding my hair bec. of the thick strands and I had to come back to the salon to have a second treatment.Just imagine that..the chemical is already strong and yet it didn't work the first time. Wow you don't need to dye your hair bec. it changes it depends on the weather you got there.Well mine is already dark brown probably due to chemical reactions. But I'll just have to wait for the wavy hair to grow and that's the time I am going to cut the straight hair from the rebond..go wavy.lol ;p Thanks for the response valenas.;p

Hmm I don't really like my hair type. I was born bald and so naturally I have thin hair. Plus it was curly and wavy that I don't really look good with short hair because as it grows I then flyaway hair. Bummer. I have not cut my hair short for a long time now because I know better than to let flyaways ruin my day. I just keep it long. Due to straightening treatments I had had, it sort of has followed the straight style until now.

I hate my hair! I always have! I have thin, curly hair. I can't do anything with it! It is so annoying. Why couldn't I have been born with nice, thick straight hair? I used to straighten it when I was young. Now since I color it I can't do that too. It's curly and frizzy. That's bad enough but filter in the thin stuff and I cry alot! I have tried so many styles and I just can't find one that I can deal with. I'm still looking.

Thin hair?As in thin hair or thin strands?bec. there are people who have thick strands of hair but not the large number of hair.WEll anyway..we can actually straighten the hair and color it afterwards..too much chemicals can really damage our hair.We are just unlucky to have this type of hair..we will just have to love it...it's better than nothing.;p

I always have a long black straight hair and i have love it the way it is. I have tried cutting it or curl it with curler but still i prefer to like have it straight which i am much comfortable. Sometimes when i see someone with new hair it very tempting to try but whenever i think of the effect it may cause after i always change my mind. The only problem i had right now is my hair become dry and stiff which i didn't like because it always makes me feel uncomfortable maybe it's because of poor diet I have right now. I was thinking to regain my healthy lifestyle so my hair will be back to it's natural look.

Hello pinks :-) it is really important to take care of one’s crowning glory as your overall appearance will be very much affected b it. On days when I have a bad hair day, I don’t feel quite good about myself. you know what, I find it a little funny because I have straight and fine hair and sometimes I wish I have wavy hair so it will have more body. I am even contemplating of making m hair curly. I guess we should just learn to love what God has given us. In your case, you are right, if you really take care of your hair and avoid putting too much chemical and over styling then you will have beautiful hair too. Take care always.

Very good topic! people care about their hair style and spend a lot on it. I am dissatisfied with my hair style and can do nothing about it. cause some people say i look old in that hair style and some say yes. i haven't dyed my hair for over 3 years and i think now is the time to dye it cause i need a change.

Yup people are actually concern about their hairstyles or the type of hair they have..bec.it adds to the beauty or appearance of a person...Well for me since I am saving money..I will not have my hair rebonded again I'll just wait till the wavy part reach my shoulder then I can have the straight hair cut...I'll just have to do ponytail to hide the wavy part of my hair. Thanks for the response.Have a nice day.;p
