Do you judge a student knowledge by his marks....???

Hi..every one..!!!
I always get around 70% in my semester exams.I will start studying a month before my exams.But Ill listen to each and every lecture in my class.I have fair knowledge on all the subjects and ill be able to deliver it in may exams exactly.Still ill be getting around 70% marks only.A friend of mine,studies daily after his college.Many feel that he is the topper of my class.But,he never crossed 65%. I feel that we both almost equal knowledge,but we get different marks and different percentages...
In my opinion, marks are not the best way of judging a students knowledge.Because some students cannot express them selfs in exam.
So,friends...What is your opinion on this..???

Well, for all I know, marks are not really a measure of a student's caliber. I have toppers in my class who do not know the Newton's First Law, the basic every engineering student should know. And they think before answering and they are always wrong. Trust me, I do not score marks, but I surely know more than them and I'm sure I can beat them in an open quiz.

I don't think that's the only criteria through which a student is judged and i think he is judged by the way he carries himself and how confident and hard working he is and also hoe honest he is so marks alone don't show the entire potential of a student

No I don't. Academic skill doesn't indicates good grades. That's known to everybody.

i dont think so only marks in the quality factor of any person i know there are some of my friends who never scored 70% in his life but they are more talented than me.
but one thing which is very true is marks tells you about the consistency of the student how much effort he/she is putting whatever marks he/she is getting change in marks can tell you lot about that person.
one way it is true that a person having escellent marks he/she will be a good student atleast but resvers may not be true.

I'm judge kwowledge not by his mark. I'm just see the way student communicate, elaborate and explain some topic. The the knowledge. Coz in interview the student that have good result also failed the interview.

I dont judge a student by his marks alone. I judge him the extra knowledge he/she has besides the academic skills. it is the real knowledge of a student
