Help In Finding Legitimate Information/Help In Completing and Obtaining Grants

I am wanting to start my own business in working with people coming out of bad and/or abusive relationships needing to start over at setting housekeeping or using what they are left with and making it better than it was. I am a seamstress and an avid crafter and woodworker. I would like to use these God given talents to help other people better themselves. In order to do so I need to obtain a grant or grants to help me financially as I do not have a lot of money. Does any one know of a web site that does not require me to buy some book, information, or join something only to find that the information is totally outdated or doesn't even exist? I really feel God has laid this endeavor on my heart to complete it and I would appreciate any help I can get in fulfilling this endeavor.
