I don't think that is strange, i think that is a great thing to not lose your virginity in teens.

No it is definitely not strange. If you are still a virgin at 19 years old you should be very proud of the fact. I am 47 years old now but when my husband and I got married I was 22 years old and still a virgin and was very proud. My husband has told me more than once since we have been married that he was proud I was a virgin. The Bible says to remain pure until you are married so keep up the good work!!

Not at all.. Most say save it till marriage. I just say save it till you think you are ready.
But I don't believe anyone in highschool should be having it. Thats a good way to get into trouble!

It depends from person to person. Different people have different perspectives. They have various different criteria to fulfill like - family background, religion, culture etc. It's a personal choice, there is no compulsion anywhere.
The main thing to be noted is that do whatever you want to but there should be no regret about the decision that you make now at a later stage.

This is an old thread, but I just wanted to add my two cents.
I didn't lose my virginity until I was 22. To be brutally honest, if anything I actually wish that I'd waited a bit longer for the right person.

When I was 19 I had my first daughter. I love in England and its virtually unheard of to save viginity until marriage. I think it wouldve been nice to do so but I now have a beautiful daughter and another on the way because of this and wouldnt change it for the world! I lost my virginty at 14 it was the night before my 15th birthday and I have regretted it ever since I gave into peer pressure!

in my opinion, its not strange..here in our country Philippines..teens engage in relationships but they still not do yet the "do" thing..but when they turned 18..they feel that they're already adults so they do the "do" thing..lol..
and here being not a virgin in you teen life is very embarrassing...i remember one of our school mate who got pregnant..and everybody was like condemning her..and she was kicked out of the school..and can't study in any schools here in our country..so she went to USA...so, i suggest that, you shouldn't lose your virginity at such young age..

Personally I would think that it should be normal to still be a Virgin at 19, and something one should be Proud of as well, I know I was one when I was 19, and even if this is something unheard of most of the time anymore, I feel it is Best when a person chooses to save themselves for Marriage as then it is a lot more special for sure. In the Old days everyone waited and things were a lot better, so if this is your choice I would never let Peer pressure or anything stand in your way as well.

Nothing strange about it the longer one holds off the longer one can not have the worries of becomming pregnant as well as all the diseases transmitted. There was a teenager who had gotten in trouble for not telling his partners that he was HIV positive the other year. Truly sad....
