Chocolate with 99% cocoa?

Found a Lindt bar but afraid to taste it. It must taste acidic..has anyone tried such chocolates?

I don't think I would try that. If your eating chocolate for the health benefits and antioxidants it would be a good buy. If your getting it for the delicous taste than probably not a good idea.

No, I haven't. I don't think I want to know about it, lol. It's probably incredibly pure tasting. And it will most likely make me a little ill. Why don't you take a bite out of it and then send me your results, lol. Let me know.

I have tried such a candy piece. I thought it would be savory and delish, but ooo so bitter! I won't buy more for sure!

I think that would be way to bitter to eat. I am not a big dark chocolate eater, but my sister is. She says that there is a % dark where any darker is too much. I think she said it was around 70 something. I pointed out an 80% dark one time and she said it would be too much.

Oooo Lindt is fantastic though :). I haven't tried any chocolate labeled specifically such a high cocoa content, but I would imagine vegan chocolate to be quite similar. I absolutely love the stuff & I'm a huge fan of darker chocolate. But, I guess you'll have to take a taste and determine for your self if you really like it :]
