I was wondering if anyone here has heard about FLR's? Apparently it's more common than I thought. This is a relationship in which the female makes all the rules and is very dominant within the household, having the final say. For it to be a true FLR, it has to be stated that the woman is in control, it can't just be assumed. There are different levels of FLR's and a lot of submissive males prefer this type of relationship. Anyone here in a FLR?

I have never heard the term FLR, but I know many people who have relationships where the female usually has the final say in things....isn't that how it is suppose to be:)
It reminds me of the tv show Rosanne. She definitely was the dominate one in that marriage.

I know a lot of women who are clearly the dominant ones in relationships. In fact my brother is totally controlled by his wife, he isn't allowed to go anywhere, not even the store, without her watching him carefully. I don't really like that kind of control to be done by anyone in a relationship. In my relationship my boyfriend and I share decision making and responsibilities, and we are a lot less stressed out than a lot of others in relationships. But whatever works for some people...

Yeah being controlled when you do not want to be controlled is totally awful. In FLR's submissive men enjoy being controlled and they are usually the ones to tell their wives that this is how they want the relationship to be. What you have discribed is just wrong if your brother does not like it.
