without internet for one or two days, i'll find some books to read or watch TV. more than three or four days, i'll finds friends to hang out. while if more than a week, i guess i would not survive since i am addicted to the amazing development of technology. How about you? how long will you last without internet?

You know, the Internet has become such an integral part of my life, I can't actually imagine what my life would be like without the internet. I mean, I know I've lived a life without the net, but that life seems like such a far away memory that it's like living in another world. I think one of the reasons why the internet is so important to me is because I need it to stay in touch with people on a regular basis. As a writer, I can do research on topics that are often taking place far away and I can send articles to publications from another part of the world. Then there is the social aspect of the internet. Thanks to sites like Facebook, I have regained contact with friends that I have not seen for nearly two decades. Suddenly I know what's going on in their lives and suddenly friends whom I once knew, but lost touch with are now, thanks to the Internet are now playing a part in my life again. What would I do without the internet? I guess I would read more books. In the absence of reading various articles on line, I would have to read physical documents. I would pretty much be restricted to my geographical surroundings but I guess that would be OK. One thing I would probably do less of would be to use the computer. The internet tends to keep you close to the computer, but without the net, I guess I would probably spend less time on a computer - write a little, or may be play a bit of solitaire. One thing is for sure, I wouldn't be having all the fun that I've had on mylot.

yeah, the reason why we can not live without internet is because we have tasted so much fun from it, as u said our life is getting easier at fantastic speed and we have experienced so many conveniences from it. who would abandon a good friend for so many advantages?
