I'm an avid supporter of buying American made products. I check every tag and buy American if at all possible even if it costs a few dollars more.
I support US workers and want to keep the jobs here. Not to mention I'm sick of the shoddy products we are getting that are dangerous and substandard from the companies that using other countries to make products once manufactured here. We've lost jobs and quality since those companies have started outsourcing. The recalls are ridiculous and yet we are letting them get by with it by continuing to buy their products.
So what about you? Are you concerned enough about the safety and quality of a product to actually look to see where it's made? Do you Buy American????

I try to buy American simply because I like to buy my products as locally as I can. I buy from farmers' markets when I can instead of supermarkets, and I try to do the same for clothes or products. I don't mind buying something made elsewhere if I need it, but that's just my preference.
