Is Wearing Jeans That have Holes is Bad for Our Image?

I think that, if you are not in a place that sets a particular dress code, you can wear pretty much what you like within the constraints of public decency Why should teenagers have all the fun?? When I'm deciding what to wear, I go with - if its clean and its comfortable and it covers any parts I dont want to show, then its fine!

I don't know. It depends on what image you're going for. A lot of children weare tattered jeas as a form of rebellion against their parents, or other authorities. Some do it because heir rebellious friends are doing i, and they want to it in. I didn't care about fitting in, and I didn't like the look of tattered jeans, so I never wore them.

This kind of image is more appropriate for teenagers but some middle aged do look good in this rugged hippy look. It all depends on individual whether they feel comfortable on such dressing.

Hi my friend I guess it depends where you go when you wear your torn jeans. I think you are entitled to wear whatever you want around the house etc. If you go to a public place, as long as they don't have any type of dress code, go for it! I think it's ok for people to wear tattered jeans even the adults can have it. as long as you're comfortable and the jeans looks good on you why would people care? besides that's your body and you're the one responsible for it. i don't think it'll ruin your image. it all depends on how people judge you.but whatever their judgment is, you still have the right to prove them wrong. to those people there who has the same attitude as i mentioned above, why won't you just keep the verdict to yourself?giving unsolicited advise is never helpful at all though!

This depends on what the persons is wearing the jeans. What i mean is you can wear jeans with holes in them; for the comfortable wear or just for the look. But in the work place I don't think that is good. Then it depends on what type of work a person is doing. If they have a job that laid back that you can wear jeans with holes in them. I don't think that I have seen any teens wearing jeans with holes in them. There so in to fashion to the point to wear jeans with holes is them is bad taste. At one time or another it gets old wearing jeans like that and they only do you any good in the summer time. You can't really wear them in the winter.

I think that it is personal choice. You should wear whatever that you feel comfortable in. Some times the jeans are made that way because it is fashionable. Some people might look good in them some might not.

well i am 34 and i am in a band i wear jeans with holes but it depends on where i will be going. i always think first what to where i will be going then think of what will i wear. we should always be like that. sometimes people say that they wear clothes that they are comfortable with, but there are clothes that are still comfortable but appropriate in such ocassion. i am a simple guy too and ii always wear what is comfortable but i also think of where am i going.

I think that it really depends. If you're buying jeans with holes in them because they're "stylish," I believe that they're not. I think that if you're not going anywhere, and just sitting around the house, then wearing jeans with holes is better than wearing a clean, good pair that you would wear during the week. Where I work is jean friendly (because it can get rather messy), so I would rather save a clean pair for when I go there, rather than for around the house.

Hi Muelitz, Everybody can wear jeans as causal any time and I see men of all agea wear jeans with holes in them it fashionable so wear it ande be fashionable and look good. Tamara

Personally I never got into the whole holes in the jeans thing I mean come on go out and by a new pair or are some people just that poor is what goes through my mind constantly plus I think its dirty.

I wouldn't recommend wearing them to work, but just around the house or for casual outings it should be fine! My husband has a pair that he wears when we go four wheeling so that he doesn't ruin his good jeans.
