What are some stupid questions people ask you frequently?

When you're at the grocery store and you're about to check out with some pizza, has anyone asked you "So you're buying pizza rolls, huh?" or anything similar? This has happened to me a lot in the past. What are some questions people ask you that shouldn't warrant any response?

Funny, but people has this habit of asking question when they already know what your up to. Like for example I brought apples my sister would always ask me, are you going to eat those? That's the reason i brought it right in the first place? To eat...grrrr.. Annoying silly people.

Yep. Sometimes, my brother will actually ask me if I'm drinking something when I'm clearly holding a clear glass of water to my mouth and chugging it.

LOL. so agree! but sometimes those people will just have to start conversation that is why they are asking that, even if it is sounds so stupid.

is it hot enough for you? yes thank you, i am satisfied with the amount of heat. when i worked in a restaurant at the cold bar it was. "where's the tartar sauce?" and it was usually right in front of them or next to them. almost everyday through out the day. where's the tartar sauce? where's the tartar sauce ? i wished i could put up a special sign above it. but it wasn't allowed.

Wow green you're so nice, because when people ask me if it's hot enough for me I will say no I like it about 100 degrees hotter. I actually had one of my friends say oh yeah you lived in Neveda you like it way hot huh. Yes because I lived in Neveda and it was always 175 degrees every day.

People ask me several times every day why I don't speak Spanish. It drives me crazy! I think Miami's still part of the United States, an English-speaking country. When the question bothers me most is when my students or their parents ask me to teach in Spanish. I wouldn't even if I knew the language, because I teach 12th grade English!.

Well just to think of one would be "where is the (blank)?". People in my house will ask me where certain things are and it is clear where they are, that they need to just look for them. For instance, "where is the mustard?" Well they clearly know that it is in the fridge. I guess they want me to go over there and show them exactly where it is. I have had them do it to me when I just had the object, like if I just had the mustard. I know that I am kind of guilty of it though also. I know there has to be more "stupid questions" than that but I can't think of anymore right now. If I do think of any I will come back and tell you.

I am a cashier. I am straightening things up on my line. I have my light on. The customer comes up and asks, "Are you open?" Duh!!!! If my line was not open, I would not have my light on and most likely, I would not even be at the register. I don't get how it is that people cannot or do not see the obvious.

I wish we had CLOSED signs on a chain at our store. There are times when we will either be getting ready to go to a different register or to our lunch breaks that it would come in handy. When we just shut off out light or put the little Closed sign out at the end of the belt, people still come through!!

Actually, that would be a legitimate question, because some places don't have lights to indicate whether or not a lane is open. Also, I've been to a Kroger that turned lights on to show that they're closing and not wanting anyone else to come into the line. After they finish checking everyone out, they use a sign on a chain.

Well since you said grocery store, at my store the cashier takes your cart to the other side, right next to them to load the groceries back into the cart, some of the new cashier will ask if I have anything on the bottom of my cart. It's like well you have it why don't you look. Duh!

I've had someone ask if I was looking for pants and shoes before and had someone ask if I was looking at them. And one time I had introduced my sister and someone who had been standing right there asked if we were related.

A frequently asked idiotic question my family members have a habit of asking me? That would be the classic "Psst are you awake?" My brothers actually wake me up to ask me this question, It's very stupid and annoying. But there have been stupider questions so I forgive them for now.
