Do not compete for now. Just go on and do what you have started. Keep being active here at mylot, try other online business ( free ) too like, writing contents, etc.
Once you have reach your first payout here and it was transferred to your bank account, then it is the time to have a solid proof to your husband or to your children that you really earn online. Just keep going and sooner or later they will support your dreams and doing online.Good luck.

Hi pau. I suggest, that you show your husband payment proofs from your sites if you have one yet. Or, when he is not around, or if he is not using your pc, that's the time that you go on with your sites. As for me, I don't have to compete with anyone around here in my household because this laptop is my personal belonging. And my kids are too young to use the computer.

Maybe you should come up with some type of schedule for your family to use the computer, discuss it with your hubby, and then decide what times and for how long each member of the family will be on the computer. I haven't had this problem since we have a total of 4 computers in our home lol. I had my own desktop computer when me and my s/o moved in together, and he had a desktop and laptop. then I got my laptop a year ago. So even if his daughter is here and we all wanted to be on the computer at the same time, it wouldn't be an issue lol.

Hi pau_79, before we use to have arguments with my uncle using the computer. We have a desktop computer before but after a years, we decided to buy a laptop. So now, we have our own laptop at our room and no one is using the desktop computer.

Saviour-V teleports in...
Yeah, there's some competition all right. Ever since my family's computer started showing signs of its age several months ago, I've had to return home early from work JUST to loan out my beloved laptop to my second-youngest brother - he's 18, in college, and nearly buried under college assignments as of this writing.
That pretty much keeps me from being active on myLot during the evening. With that laptop in his hands, I don't have much to do.
Except rev up the PS2 in my room, that is. Makes me a bit cross, but until I can work out a way of getting more money to get a better laptop or something more, this might take a bit.
Wish me luck, ladies and gents.
Saviour-V bows, and teleports out...

Luckily, my fiance and I each have our own computers, so I don't have to compete with him to use mine. We actually have 3 computers between the two of us.
Is there any way you could convince your family to have a schedule of times when each of you can use the computer? If each person had a few hours a day that was "their" time, it would cut down on the competition and be more fair for everyone involved.

Fortunately, I was smart enough to provide my sons with their own computers so I am spared from having to compete with them. My wife has to use my youngest son's computer when he is in school.

I think the best way is to coordinate with your families about the schedule if you are afraid that you cannot afford a new computer. I think the main job of children is to work hard, so the time that your children occupy is little. When comes to your husband, I think you are both adults and you should convince him of the idea, moreover, discuss with him about the schedule. Once you have married, your husband is your power of spirite. As a husband, he should believe in you and work together to achieve your goal.

I have to compete with my children for computer use. They just want to use it for entertainment or games. I like to research things I find interesting or just unwind on sites like mylot. I have six chilren, so I bought another computer, but that didn't really make much difference.

I am fortunate to have my own laptop. I do not share it with anyone so I can use it anytime I want. I am sure there are ways to set up your schedules so that you don't have to compete with the kids and your husband. Allot a time for everyone so every one gets a turn.

We have 2 comps in the house, but both are my domain. If I say I need one I get it (they both have differen capabilities and I use them for different things). Our family has the rule of if you are making money (no matter how much) or trying to make money you get dibs!
My daughter is too young for the computer but I will have her monitored at all times and she can start earning money herself (with my supervision) if she wants to be on it.
