Do you find joy for working or is it just for the money?

Are you a workholic? Do you feel that you job is interesting and you love it so much? As for me there were times when I feel very energetic waking up in the morning getting ready to work. In the office I would focus 90% completing the task even sacrificing my coffee break and lunch. Once done I feel so relieved and satisfied. But despite of that many times I feel so lazy to get up in the morning and thinking what excuse to give if I am absent from work. Reaching the office, my heart felt heavy with piles of work to be done, reports to submitted, meeting after meeting sometimes three in a day..etc. How do you feel towards you job. Do you find joy in working or is it just for the money? Please share your experiences.

I clean houses for a living and am self employed. I do it for the money, no boubt, but I also do enjoy my work too. It is a satisfying feeling when I clean a house and see it transform from a total mess to a nice and neat and clean house. I take pride in my work and I do it as best as I can and it is satisfying. The money is great too, I am making more money cleaning houses than I ever did working for some one else, doing office work. I worked in an office for 17 years for the same company and I now make more money than I did then. So I will stick to house cleaning as long as my body will let me.

I love my job and am glad that I have it. I went into the field of teaching for a good reason and have never regretted doing it. I find joy in seeing students succeed and there are many things I could do to make more money, but I never will...
