i find that lots of mylotters here spend nearly all day long doing finger typing, you know, i mean the mylotting. after sitting in front of the computer for more than two hours, my back, neck and spine ache, and feel kinda sick. and for all the mylotters and those who work in the office, i wanna know, what's your best way to stay physically healthy, i mean the whole boby, not just the fingers' movement, after mylotting or sitting in front of the computers for a long time? i just heard the news that a CEO from China died young from overwork, aged 39. let's say hi to health, and say no to overwork death.

After sitting still for 45 minutes or so, I have to get up and move! I feel like a big slug or something. The room next to my home office (where the computer is) is a fully equipped gym. I have to do at least 20 minutes on the treadmill or with weights, or on the Stairmaster, or something, to make the blood flow again!

if you are a big slug, i have to confess that i'm a bigger slug, for once i sit in front of a computer, i sit for more than 2 hours, just move my fingers and breathe. lol, i can't find a gym around my neighbourhood, so what i can do is always to stroll after mylotting, or hang aound in a supermarket. lol

Sorry, but I don't envision a lot of movement there. Not healthy at all. Get up and move around while you still can!

I have experienced bad backache and severe migraine and a twisting eyeballs when I sit too long surfing. I now decided to move around the house multitasking, like laundering, cooking or sweeping the floor just to get moving. It is not advisable to sit for hours in front of the computer as it affects every nerve in our body.

I personally swim most days when i am here mylotting away. It gives me a change of pace lets me stretch everything and gives me some physical exercise. If it is a day I'm not swimming. I usaully go shopping for awhile or take a walk. You need to get up and do something. My fingers get cramped if I sit here all day.

i have a strict regime of going to the gym and pumping iron there. i also begin with the basic workout involving cardio and yoga. but the most important thing about remaining healthy is what you eat. you should have a balanced diet and regular feeds. do not overeat on one occasion in a day and starve for the remaining part. it is not at all advisable. have a look to your feeding habits and you can stay healthy even with minimal exercise. bye and take care.

It is very dangerous for health to spend all day long in front of computer and work all the day long, So I will suggest to every people who works on office or in here all the day, they should take 5 min bed rest by closing their eyes and they should take a glass of water on every 30min - 1 hour gaps. In this way we can work for many our without hampering our health so much. We also have to eat lots of green vegetables everyday and we should sleep perfectly at night. Do exercisers regularly everyday morning to keep active your body parts. In that way we can stay healthy.

It's quite unhealthy to stay in front of computer all day long wheter you are mylotting or just playing games.
The damage can cause in several ways. Firstly the most damage is done to your eyes. To prevent it from permanent damage, try to take a break after spending a certain time in front of monitor. You can use some eye drops or even anti-glare glasses for the protection of your eyes.
The next thing that is affected is your mind. This causes huge pressoron your brain too. Having rest and meditation really helps.
Sitting all day long is not so good also. It's good to do some excersize on regular basis.
I think, it's not healthy to doing mylot althrough the week. A day-off is good in any kind of job. Keep posting..

LOL! Why I go to the gym of course. I also swim. I'm used to spending a lot of time in front of a computer, I used to do such for work and now I pretty much do it for fun. I think that my computer encompasses more of my entertainment than tv, not to mention I can watch instant movies from Netflix on my computer now.

Well, MyLotting isn't exactly working, even if you are earning money while doing it. Some people would probably sit in front of the computer and post at forums anyway; it's just a plus that they happen to earn money while doing so here.
Myself, I go to the exercise room at my local YMCA to stay fit. Usually I just run a mile, lift some weights until I'm sore and then leave. My goal is at least three to four times a week. Cycling is also quite fun, and isn't quite as tiring as running.

The news makes me scare. I often feel a lot of back pains lately because of too much work in front of the computer. I should have change my ways to get back my strength because i admit it really change lately and i am afraid that it would result something not good in the future. I think it's better that we need to spent less time in front of the computer. We have to learn to manage time like to have exercise after working in a computer such as walking or stretching relax for a while.

Hi Xoyyox,
I would say I am a full time MYlotter since I have no regular job this time..I take a break a lot of times...Stretching and exercising! I also take a nap each day to relax my eyes!
I also make sure that I am eating on time even if staying here is very addictive..LOL!
Another thing also is I will exercise my eyes often from too much staring at the screen!

I don't know about the others, but for me I don't spend the whole day straight sitting in front of the computer. I usually respond to like a couple of posts then leave the computer for a while do a few chores then back again at the computer. I usually get tired thinking a lot of responses on 1 sitting so I take a lot of breaks. Maybe yo could do a little exercise in between posting o something. If I spend the whole day in a computer I usually get a twitch at the corner of my eyes so I try not to stress it a lot. You are right, we do have to take care of our health. To a long and happy life! ~

I have a gym membership that I use 3 or 4 times a week. Beyond those hour long gym sessions I also try and run 4 or 5 times a week for about 5 miles or so. Although sometimes I get caught up on the internet I always make sure I set a schedule for myself so I do not have the escuse of saying "Well I will just workout tommorow."
The best way I find to motivate myself to go out and excercise is to set a self reward system. I will basically tell myself that if I excercise for this long I can then spend this long online. That way when I am excercising I have something to look forward to to reward myself with.
