Does anyone else love the movie American Beauty?

I also loved the movie American Beauty, it's a beautiful movie. Kevin Spacey was excellent in the movie, it's great to see how Kevin Spacey played his character so well. I have seen American Beauty 5 times and I didn't feel like it should have a different ending, the ending of American Beauty is just perfect ...

Yes, I love this movie too- I loved how Lester told the story and Kevin Spacey acted well here- i really liked his character. This movie made me want to watch kevin Spacey's movie.

I have watched the film so many times I have lost count, I actually found the dvd in HMV for only £6 which I quickly snapped up. I think this is one of Kevin Spacey's best roles and certainly it's a wonderful film, I never get fed up with watching it and I like the music, whenever I am feeling down I will put this movie on, just me, dark room and some sweets. I don't think there could be a sequel to be honest, this is a unique one off film and I certainly don't think a sequel would ever be as good.

I agree with you. Yes, a sequel is a good idea if it has ended another way. But it's one movie worth watching over again.

i hate pretty much everything about sequels so i will have to disagree with you there, but it is a fantastic movie, the whole time you know hes gonna die but its kinda like whatever cuz hes a whatever character...but the last 5 minutes of his life all of a sudden hes lovable! its so sad!
