it does grow as we age, because sharing such friendship as you grow up, it will be tested through a lot of trials and hardships, if it can sustain the challenges, that means the friendship is real, and when it has been through those challenges, then it should mean its more understanding, more truthful.. more matured. :)

Friendship grows old with time not age. I have many friends whose attitude towards me has changed over time. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I have found out that friends change their behavior based on their needs. SO there will be always a change in the relationship of friendship as time will move on.

I think friends can grow apart like any relationships, I don't think it is a matter of growing old as just taking a different direction at times, good friends usuall come back on the same track after awhile.

no way, freindship only grows if you constantly rekindle the realtionship by keeping in touch

Actually I wouldn't say friendship grows old with age; I'd say friendship grows sweeter as time goes on. The longer you are friends, the more experiences you share, which binds you even closer to each other. You share experiences like weddings, the birth of your first baby, promotions, family tragedies, sicknesses. You help each other out in times of need. So that if you grow old together, you get to understand each other and know each other so well that you can communicate to each other even without words. Its so nice to have a friend you can grow old with.

I think when your friendship is real,it will become better and even more better as time goes on.Specially when you had proven it true and real.
