why the sun have umlimited power

When i lived in north area, i hate the winter,while i am in south area now, i hate the summer. The sun shines every day so hot! I happen to think of one question,why the sun seems have unlimited power?

Nuclear fusion, the same as one massive, continuous hydrogen bomb. The sun is so massive, that matter compresses and fuses in a fusion reaction. That's the reason for the heat and light.
