That was unexpected. I was walking on the way to the jeep stop and just before I rounded the corner I tripped for no reason at all! I didnt trip all the way, just kinda lost my footing. It would have been ok but the exact time I tripped, a group of high school boys rounded the corner and saw me. That wouldve been very VERY embarrassing but I guess I wasnt in the mood to be embarrassed. Just smiled a bit, held up my hand to indicate that Im ok and went on. Did I mention that they reacted and actually laughed at me? I just didnt care. What a way to keep my cool huh?
So whats your supposedly embarrassing situation but because you werent up to be embarrassed just went on your business??
Thanks for sharing!^_^

Doesn't it always happen when there is someone around to see you?! The best I ever heard was a friend of mine who had the elastic break on her knickers when she was standing on a crowded train. She was wearing a skirt, and her underpants just fell down around her ankles. She didn't move, then when the train stopped at her station, she simply stepped out of the knickers and went on her way! Totally cool.

On a crowded train, I don't think anyone would have even noticed. I do often wonder what happened when peak hour finished, the train emptied and it became obvious that there was a pair of knickers on the floor. It must have raised a few eyebrows that day!

bj:
only recently I had a similar plight when I tripped pout of nothing in front of a gang of boys. My hand bag went scattered and I was very embarrassed. luckily I didnt have any emergency. I stood up quickly , gathered composure and went on to walk upto the block. Surprisingly two of the boys helped me with the girly stuffs that went scattered. I was more embarrassed.
you take care, hon.

Hi bjcyrix!
I admired your composure and coolness in dealing the embarrassing situation. Sometimes it is good to just leave everything the way it is and just ignored the people around us and whatever they will say or do. Just think that this incident does not only happen to you but to everybody.
Have a nice day!

Hello
Well it is a good thing you didnt get hurt.
I always trip and somehow hurt myself and twist my ankle . Last 4th of July I was in the park watching the fireworks and had to use the bathroom . So, i was hurrying up and tripped over the curb . some teens just started laughing and I was like you punks . Then , when i walk my backyard I always find and fall in a rabbit hole Lol. I really just seem to be accident prone sometimes and have a way of just flying out of my flip flops to when i walk .

Yes there are moments we did that something we do is really embarrassing but since we are in a feeling cool condition we dont mind at all. When I was in a grocery store, I thought I saw my friend coming so when I approach her way she was on her back on me already so I just grab her hand abruptly as she knows it was only a joke but when she turned to me it turns out to be another person I did'nt knew. I said sorry but I cannot deny she was hurt as it displays her facial expression but I can no longer stand looking at her coz i want to laugh. I said sorry again, I was mistakingly regard her as my friend then I went walking away feeling nothing but cool huh!!!

Yes I think those are one of those moments. I had an experience like that before. I was looking at some statues in a show window and I know that my friend was somewhere beside me. I felt the urge to ask something and so I just tapped the persons' shoulder who was beside me. While I tapped I asked the question. Imagine my surprise when the woman turned to me and I saw that it was not my friend! I was embarrassed inside but I just didnt show it and continued to ask the question that I began. I acted as though I really meant to tap the strangers shoulder! Good thing the woman was nice and even offerd to answer the question.LOL! None of my friends even noticed that it was just an accident and they even thought that I knew the woman personally!LOL!
Thanks so much for responding and for sharing your experience.^_^
