please suggest back pain remedies and how to avoid back pain. I sit for 8 to 9 hours a day in front of computer and that is causing me a lot of back pain. Is there any way we can avoid back pain with natural exercises.

Two more things, one is to do a non impact exercise like swimming. It will help strengthen the back muscles. Also, a small foot stool under your desk so that you can shift the position of your legs will also help. I work a lot at my computer and have found along with standing every 45 minutes or so that having a small stool for my feet helps bunches.
Make sure that when you finish at work, you gradually stand and lightly stretch. We forget to do the stretching exercises (we can take a hint from cats who will rise and stretch before they exercise or move around the house) and will start off to our vehicles or where ever and our muscles aren't warmed up from our being in one position for extended periods of time.

hello sir, first of all I want to state that my wife is a sufferer of back pain and one of our family friend is an orthopedic surgeon. Having consultations with many doctors regarding the back pain I with my own point of view want to state the following points to be remembered not only by back pain patients but by all
1. Don't sit in a single position for more than 20 minutes.
2. Always sit by keeping your back straight.
3. Regular mild excersies which strengths back preferablly with walk.
4. Don't add on weight , rather try to reduce it gradually.
5. Have a good mattresses atleast 5 to 6 inches thick and preferably it should have cotton inside it instead of polyfill or other artificial material.
6. Try to take proper sleep and give your body a rest.
7. Never do bending and donot lift weight straight from ground.
While lifting weight, keep the weight as close to your body as you can.
8. Swimming is a good exercise which can relax the muscles.
9. Never allow pain to aggreavate, try to lessen it by any
means even by taking medicines.
10. Get yourself regularly checked up.
11 And last thing don't risk your back by opting surgery of
back.

Hopefully you live where you are given a break every 2 hours for 15 minutes. That way you can walk around.
Lumbar cushion and good posture when you are sitting.
Crunches and push-ups during your off hours, start with a small number of each like 5 and add one per week to get to 10. Don't try to do 100 of each the first time out.
Hope this helps.
