i have a co employee before then when th epay day comes she alwats wantto see my salary. I try to avoid her by seeing my payslip but she really wanted then she accidentally saw it. then she say why i had more than her. if you have a different position it is right to tell her that we have a different postion that's why we have a different salary . you cant asked asked the office about that. she is comaparing but we must not right. Do you think she is right . I am a Pharmacy Assistant Cashier and she is only a Pharmacy Assitant over the counter. Do you think sh ehas the righ to b eangry with me. She angry with me that time.

Your co employee has no right to get angry at you. Maybe she just wanted to earn more. Just let her complain to the office, I'm sure the office will be able to give her a substantial reason why she has a lower rate.
If you want to eliminate the anger she had on you, you can talk to her, maybe its not because of the pay slip you have been thinking. It could be other reasons.

No, she has no right to be angry with you. YOU didnt decide what your salary would be and that hers would be less. If she feels that her position is undervalued it is her responsibility to discuss it with her employer or pay office. If you have more responsibility that she has its quite correct that you should be paid at a higher rate. I have only recently started my job so am well aware that most of the people doing the same job as me are being paid at a higher rate because they have extra years service. I dont have a problem with that - they have earned that rate.

They are right your co-employee should have known that having different positions and duties may affect the salary of a person. And even those who have same positions sometimes has different salaries and it always differ cause of the capabilities/capacity and experience of the person regarding the job. It also adds the factor of the employers preference of to whom he will give a good salary.
Just tell her to make a good job and try to impress the customers and the boss when they are around so that she'll have a salary increase soon.

she absolutely don't have any right to be angry with you.that was my opinion. why she had to be argue about the salary amount that been give by the company to you?why she must compared it with her salary..i can't understand until now what is her problem exactly...from your story i can tell that she is technically your assistant?(correct me if i'm wrong),so why she must argue that?maybe she had done something wrong that make her salary been cut that month if your both salary supposed to be the same amount.so,the conclusion here, she did not have any right to be mad with you because you not the one that give her salary, and it not your fault either that her salary and your salary not the same..so i hope you can continue enjoy working there=)

i handled the payroll of our employees in our company and salary rate is confidential you, the payroll master and the owner knows that anybody is not allowed to see it to avoid comparison that mostly happend. having different rate depends on your position and your responsibilities. She has no right to get angry with you because in the first place you are not the one demand for that rate, second she is just over the counter assistant. Just tell her that if she want any clarification on why your rate is different then advise her to talk to the owner let's see if what she will get! next time don't allow anybody to show your payslip even to your superior just kept it with your self.
