In a decade long conquest, JK Rowling managed to impress and win over both young and old fans with her AWESOME work, the Harry Potter series. Apart from the 7 main books, released in 100s of different languages, there are also a couple of extra readings [on quidditch and monsters! :) ].
But since the publication of the last book, there hasn't been much activity on this front. No more books, no speculation theories on who's going to kill who. . .This brings us to the question. . .
IS THIS THE END OF HARRY POTTER ERA? with nothing more to look forward to, no new adventures in the wizard world, are we doomed to stay forever now in the muggle world??

Well, we do have two movies to look forward to (or three, I guess since the 7th in rumored to be split into two movies) That should keep some interest going for a while. And then there's always those new readers each year who will discover the series for themselves as they finally get old enough. Long live Harry Potter!

Hi. I think an era only ends once its influence has waned. I haven't visited HP forums for a year so I wouldn't how much its activity has declined. But I'm pretty sure as long as there are readers interested in magic and fantasy, Harry Potter will always be around. I tell you every time I pick up the book I still get lost in the HP universe. Still does it for me
Strictly speaking though, I guess the 'era' of Harry Potter is drawing to a close but its influence is far from disappearing. Oh well we still have 2 movies to look forward to.

I know that I miss waiting for the releases. I felt like the oldest 'kid' waiting for midnight!
I heard the 6th movie will be Nov21st, so that's coming up, at least!
