Your cell phone was eaten by a WHAT??

The only thing that might eat my cell phone might be the clutter accumulating over it, since I don't really use it much :) But hubby once was cleaning up the car and had the cell on the front seat. He says he's not sure how he managed that but when he got a bag to put all the garbage he threw the cell phone in there either, and then dropped it in the big garbage can. My mother in law was cleaning the backyard and also threw a lot of garbage in the can after him. It was only when he heard the phone ringing in the middle of all the garbage that he noticed what he had done. They were found by my father in law, with their heads inside the garbage can trying to "fish" the phone :)

Well, I haven't had such a bad situations yet as most of you discussed here. The closest situation encountered will be on my dad. Remeber that nokia 8510 back like 6-8 yrs ago. Really small and slippery. My dad happened to drop it at the petrol station without noticing it. He only realize his phone went missing when he got home. So, we just use another phone to call his missing phone. Luckily someone picked it up. The phone could've been squashed and ran over as it happen to be on the floor where you fill in your petrol tanks.

ohh. thats baad, me.? I dad lost a sony erikson one.. but its not mine, its my friend cd and I lost it.. and I was to pay it.. stupid I am hihi

i live in chiacgo where if its december its garenteed snow, well i was playing in my backard football with my nefue and i accidently dopred it and this is mid noveber at the time, well it snowed that day and i couldnt find my phone anywhere in the house it took till almos febuary for me to find it becuse it was under all the snow, and yet it still worked

Once i travel in the zoo with my girlfriend. We set on a bench and ate fruit, i put the cell phone beside me after a call to my sister. When a dustman came my girl friend hand the plastic bag full of waste to him. After a while i can't find the phone. My girl friend called my number and we heard the familiar ring came from the dust truck.

My little sister once dropped her cell phone in a glass of milk. That's pretty good aim, if you ask me. :)

the dumbest thing i've done is to forgot my cell on a taxi well it was a foolish act of mine by not checking my leftover before i leave the taxi.. then the next thing i remember i missed people who used to be on my contact list in my cellphone then i realized that the important details saved on my cell was still there even a password of my server ( well i used to work in a company where we have a lot of computer and i handle the password for a server) too bad and realized the value of my cellphone. i cant do anything about it only to find another cellphone or to buy new one.

When i was younger, i went out with some mates and my dad- being typical as he was told me to ring him when i was ready to be picked up, unfortunately i had left my phone at my house- expecting to not receive any calls-- because i was with all my friends. Thankfully one of my mates lent me their phone though... or i could have been stuck at the club all night!

well my recent phone. broke by falling in my neices potty training toilet. it was disgusting. but im getting a new one.

Well... Speaking of leaving a cell. phone somewhere I shouldn't have, this does relate to an accident I had with it... Once, I came out to my car & realized I forgot something inside the house... Not sure why but I put my cell. phone on top of my car's roof... When inside the house, found what I had to find, got back to my car & started backing out of my driveway then I hear "crunch" outside my car... I didnt' know what that was so I decided to pull back up in my drive way & see what it was... Just as I started driving back up the drive way, I hear the sound again... I get outside & I realized that the cell. phone has slid down from the roof of my car & I ran over it twice, backing out of drive way & pulling back up the drive way... So, I guess for me, that would make it a dumbest place I left my cell. phone, roof of my car...

My son left his at the zoo. a nice lady found it and called his #1 contact mom. He did not even realize it was missing until she called. I had to drive 1 1/2 back to go get it.

i dont know exactly what u say but i did remember one funny fact with my cellphone. i'm in beach around 22h and some friends are looking me. i've climb a mini-mountain and start throw UP my cellphone to day see the light. he drop off my hand and then i've lost it xD so we decided to call to the phone. he start glowing somewhere in the water behind the mini-mountain. BAH i've lost the cell phone? NHA it still working ^^

well i came home buzzed one night and went to get water from the refigerator and apparently had my cell phone in my hand and i left it there... lol i didnt remember the next morning and i was looking all over for it until i went to get more water. also i dropped my phone in one of those giant taco bell cups full of coke.. i had it in the cup holder in my car with no lid and decided to text while driving and somehow dropped it.

i lost it in the car cause i fell asleep with the phone in my had, and then i threw it out the window in my sleep

My dumbest was when we went out for the day to a theme park and I was driving. I thought I would leave it behind as I didn't want it getting knocked or wet on the rides, and it didn't even cross my mind that I might need it. We drove for about an hour and then broke down, typically no where near any road side recovery phones, and I had to wait for someone to pull over in the end, which I was wary about, and borrow there phone to call recovery. Luckily it was ok, but it could have been a dodgy situation just my young son and I.
