do you keep your ex gifts?

there are people who tend to return all the gifts their ex's gave to them...some weven throw it or burned it...not just gifst but anything that will remind them of a person...
hmmm for me, i keep 'em all...i had 4 failed relatioships (currently single)in each of those i have kept all the things that will remidn me of them in a certain box...with my last bf (1 1/2 year ago) i still sleep with the teddy bear he gave me in our anniversary...
what about you?

yeah i find it sweet it means that you cherish the happy moments with that person...after all it is not a bad day everyday with the person it is just that somethign came along the way that resulted to break-up...

yehh thats true when you recieved those gifts they were happy moments so i dont understand why people just throw all that away i guess people dont want to remember that person..
but if it was something like jewellery like expensive like even a phone why would you give it back i would keep it no matter what that person did who cares its yours now does it make a difference who gave it to you

hmmm i actually keep everythign intact even some receipts of resto that we went in..hehehe...
but yeah if it is way expensive i will keep it and if he will ask it back i will say i lost it lols...

Probably i will keep it for memory . But make sure you keep it wisely and not to let your new partner found that. Anyway, Love is always base in Trust and Freedom. But we need to avoid misunderstanding to be happen.

hmmm...well good thing fro me i dont have a bf so i can still have the teddy bear in my bed,,,hmmm i am thinking the guy i am dating right nw saw the bear and i even told him where the bear came from and he tease me on that..hehehe...well we are nt just dating we started friends so i am comfortable telling him those things...but if we will be couple and he will aske me to keep the bear away from my bed i will be delighted to follow him (for as long as he will give me repalacement lols)...

hahahha, i dun hav ex's', but i do keep things from the guy i like, some simple and small little things that u wouldn't expect that i will keep it :p for example, i kept a chinese to english translation notes by the guy i admired during high school, v r in the same discussion group dealing with a project, and i also forgot that i kept it nicely until one day i tidied up my bedroom and i saw it, i just laughed & felt so sweet, coz there is a lots of wonderful youth inside ^_^

yes i keep them coz all hav sentimental values... I'm not gonna let him throw the things i gave him, it means a lot to me. And so i will not throw what he gave me too coz for sure it means a lot for him. I told my exes, if they wanna keep 'em, do so. If not, giv it back to me and i'l keep 'em myself. Just never throw them away.

on regards to my gifts to them i reallyd ont care what they will do with those but i dont want them givign it back to me..well those are not mine anymore since i gave it to them so do what they think is due to those gifts..

good day...When my first GF broke up with me, I ask to return the poem I gave to her, it's a kind of a vow to her from me but since she broke up with me I want to have it back so I could make another one for the next love of my life if ever but she refused. As for her items she didn't ask them back either. I kept them in a box but I can't remember where the box is now.

I don't understand burning or destroying things that you've been given. I mean, they did mean something to you at one point, right? 
If it's something that bothers me to see, like a stuffed animal, I'll donate it. If it's pictures, I'll give them back to the person I was with and let them deal with it.
Then again, if it makes you feel better, I say go for it as long as you own it!

yeah... if you have too much and there is no room left for new memories better lose some...bitter memories are a lot easier to keep away..
