So I have been trying to get back into the Marine Corps for almost three years now. This is all I have wanted to do with my life since I got out of college. Yesterday I had a meeting with a recruiter to do my reenlistment papers, and as I turn to get something out of my purse, the guy goes, "Wait, is that a tattoo on the back of your neck?" I said yes, showed it to him and he proceeds to tell me that although I enlisted years ago with it, that I would not even be considered for reenlistment because of it! Someone please tell me how I am supposed to be enjoying my life when I can't catch a break!? Luckily the Army doesn't care about tattoos! :P

I am going Air National Guard. They didnt say anything to me about my tattoo but it is on my ankle not on my neck. But if you really want to go to the military dont give up. Someone will take you. Try Air Force or the National Guard or maybe even the Navy if you cant go Marines.

Yeah I am starting to believe the same thing for myself. My recruiter was supposed to be back in office Tuesday and I called then and she said she would be back the 24th and I called yesterday and now she is saying the 29th is when she will be back so I think good is telling me to think about it ya know. Because I am supposed to be swearing in when my recruiter gets back in office. But I dont know if it is gods plan for me.

That is strange I have never heard of that befor I personally think they are takeing haveing tatoos a little to far. The army dosn't do this that I know of. That's to bad after waiting all that time to get in to the marine corps that they turn you down like they have Don't give up hope keep on trying to get into the next best thing. I do wish you the best of luck and may you get your dream answered
