I would have to agree with you that not being able to eat what I want is the thing I hate the most about dieting, which is why doing a low carb/high protein diet worked so well for me. I wasn't hungry all of the time *and*, with a low carb diet you're supposed to carb up periodically so I ate whatever I wanted on Saturdays. At first I ate nothing but junk food but, after the first couple of weeks, I started making more healthy carb choices since I knew that I always had the option of eating carbs every Saturday. It's also not considered cheating since it's a necessary part of the diet so there was no guilt.

The whole process of dieting. I really don't like it. It's like depriving yourself from the foods you want to eat. But, I am actually dieting right now. Though, i don't like it, i really need to. It's for my own good. Oh yeah, nothing but oatmeal.

I think there will always be people who dislike dieting, and there will always be something about dieting to dislike. But if you diet the right way, and do not deprive yourself of the foods you like then I think you can enjoy dieting and the results you get from it. Plus by doing it the right way you SHOULDN'T feel hungry all the time and you can STILL dine out at your favorite restaurant.
I will have to say though the thing that is most annoying to dieting to me is counting your calories so you can see how much you need to exercise off to stay in the negative. Those calculations are what get to me.

The feeling hungry part makes my number one spot too, lol. I can't stand that feeling. So I currently don't follow any diet plan. Counting calories is no way to live, man. I have enough stress and taking food away from me would be dangerous, lol.

I would have to say all of the choices. I'd add not seeing results faster and running out of ideas for meals.

Well I needed to put myself on a diet like yesterday I have about 70 lbs to lose that I had gain through my pregnancy. I have gain this in less than a year now and it's taking a toll on me. I don't like dieting...in the beginning it's hard but after being on a diet for a month or so it's alot easier. I love carbs so that's why it's so hard for me...I feel like I'm still hungry if I don't have carbs all the time. The exercing is also the hardest part...just in the beginning to get yourself motivated and as soon as you see the weight come off then it's pretty easy to workout every day or every other day. If I had a chief and a personal trainer it would be really easy! But I'm not rich so I would have to just push myself into eatting right and working out. Great discussion! Take care!
