Hi friends. I love my three cats, and they do some really funny stuff. I wanted to share some of my stories, and read about some of your cats.
One of our cats is really big; he did weigh 25 lbs. at one time, but is on a diet, and down to about 17 lbs. He is still very big! His name is Smokey. Then, we have a calico who is the tiniest full-grown cat I have ever seen. She only weighs about five or six lbs. We call her Cutie for obvious reasons.
Well, Smokey will be laying somewhere asleep, and Cutie will get up on his back and sleep there. They will sleep like that for hours at a time.
Then, we have Misty. He is 10 yrs. old, and "normal" weight. He sleeps on top of my kitchen cabinets, up near the ceiling. I guess he feels safe from the dogs up there. He is very nosy! If we are cooking something in the microwave, which is under the cabinet that he sleeps on, he will peek over the edge of the cabinet and watch everything we are doing until we are done. Then, he goes back to sleep.
I could write a book on the funny things that they do, and I'm sure there are a lot of interesting stories out there. So, come on, fellow myLotters, share some of your stories with me, please. Thank you.

I have a cat named Char, and just got a kitten on Monday.
Char is funny, she thinks she is the boss of everything in the house. She has to have her nose into everything, and when it comes to new things she is very cautious and careful. She love to sleep on my pillow with me, and she is a great alarm clock, she chews the hair on my scalp till I get up. I can't wait to see what my new kitty does as she is growing up.

My cat, Cuddles: shes a Turkish Angora is about 12 years old. She sleeps at the foot of my bed and a few times at night when I watch tv, talk on the phone or whatever she likes to attack my feet. She loves to play blanket monster! I actually videotaped her attacking my feet and a friend of mine said "holy crap that cat is going nuts" LOL

Thanks for responding soulist. That is so funny about your cat attacking your feet! Cuddles sounds so cute. I just love our three cats; they are like my children. I also have three dogs, and one of them is psycho! When he sees another dog or a person outside, he goes crazy, growling and shaking a scatter rug all around real hard. He is nuts! LOL

I have one cat. He's about ten years old and he's losing his eyesight. He's not quite blind yet but he has a hard time recognising who he's seeing. We have to talk to him so he'll know which one of us he's seeing. He's losing his sense of taste too. The other day he ate quite a bit of cooked squash. He's such a cry baby too. He'll yowl to come inside like he's been out for days, but he's only been out for a few hours.

Hello bbjwlsn,
I have two cats one is called baby I got thar cat from my neice when she moved into her flat because she was not allowed animals so I have and I have Tom, I got him for cats protection centre when he was a kitten. Tom is 9 years old now but acts like a four old up to all kinds of tricks and follows me where ever i go, come bed time he sleep right on to of my head the heavy lump. Baby is very idependant, but she sits looking out the window and starts chattering to the birds and when she wants feeding she sits at bowl and stares at me, when you ignore her she comes up to you and stare, funny cat I love them both very much.
