I think any responsible adult would consider themselves as a loving parents... Some may not agree with the method of parenting but for the most part, love will always exist between a parent & a child... I know I love my daughter... I know my girl friend loves my daughter... Our parenting method may not be same or agreed by some but doesn't take away the fact that we'd give up our lives for my child... Our little family is very open to each other & there's always an open communication between 3 of us... There's nothing we can't say to each other, of course within reason... I won't be cursing my daughter out if some want to get really technical but I think most people know what I'm talking about... Any type of experience will have different degrees of impact on any relationship, weather it's good or bad... Most will bond us together stronger... I know in case of mine, we're growing stronger everyday as a family...

I like to consider myself a loving parent. Having children is not always easy though. You are right about a solid foundation of support and caring. It does go a long way throughout your child's life. They will remember how they were treated. I really hope I can continue to foster and establish a good relationship with my son and hope he appreciates it. I just want a good life for him and to be very happy with his life always.
