I died 3 times when I gave birth to my youngest daughter.
By rights I should not have survived.
I am quite sure it changed me forever.
I used to be afraid to die but now I see it as a something I look forward to.
Has anything like this changed you?

When I was a kid about 17 I took a who bottle of sleeping meds and another bottle of anxiety meds and woke up a week later in the ICU. Scared the crap out of myself. Now that it has been almost twenty years I am thankful to be here. I enjoy my life and will never get that depressed again. I know now how selfish it is but being a teeny bopper I could not think past the day in hand. I changed my whole thought process. I am glad to be alive and here enjoying my children. God must have been watching over be saying it is not your time yet little lady! You have much to do yet.

On October 17 2005 I was given 3 hours to live after a serious accident. Well obviously I did not die and it has changed me tremendously. I enjoy every minute of every day now and appreciate even the smallest thing that I did not notice before. I believe I have become more tolerant and generous.

Wow!!! Ray, I had no idea. No, I have never had any kind of experience that comes close to what you have been through. I am glad you did not die. I am also thrilled that you are here to write all of these wonderful discussions.
