i was browsing some some links that were referred to me by one of the member here on this site..and my attention was caught on an investment scheme ..that is online thing..it was introduce to me by one of the member of this site..and i did register and invested some money but not really that big since this friend had warned me not so just in case or just a precautionary measures since its online thing kind of ..and i did follow his advice on that...so i did register and invest just a reasonable sum of money..but it only lasted a month since when i decided to withdraw it for checking only if i can withdraw it anytime and of course with matching interest attached to it.. i was dismayed that my account was turned into zero...and i guess for me it was a lesson learned not to give out any money on every site that requires for it..the site im referring to is "please invest.com/" hope that this discussion will serve an eye opener for those who like to earned money online ...what about you guys any similar situations?

too bad that you had to lose money like that. i've not technically invested, but did get taken in some scams. i've learned my lesson. can't talk more about it cause it would be repeating what i said on another post. there are a lot of greedy evil people.

I am so sorry to hear that, we should start a scam squad or something, because I really think it's a shame how people get taken advantage of. A lot of people take risks, with money that they don't have and to have it taken from them is horrible. I have always tried to be very careful about what I join, but I must say that there are alot of sites that look very legit nowadays, it gets harder and harder to tell.

yeah .... really bad to hear such stories. but what to do there are so many scam sites on the internet. this make it really important for people like us to be more careful and cautious. i have been around for a few years and have been scammed quite a large number of times. thats why i personally feel that we should not join any site without doing any home work. by home work i mean that you need to investigate on the site you want to join. search the net and find reviews on the site, proofs of the site that they are really paying and .... this will help us remain less scammed. why i say this is because, as long as internet remains scamming will remain and we can't avoid it. it is for us to remain careful and be alert. as good as having your purse and having it more securely and alert to avoid robbery.

good day. Never happened to me and I hope it won't. It really alarms me when a site ask for money for me to earn some more. I mean it's just dodgy and it should serve as a warning. I might though if the site explains thoroughly on how they would let me earn. just might but not 100% sure.

Hello vanities,
Thanks for the information. I was involved in this kind of thing once. I heard about it many times and there were people who got rich because of the similar scheme. So, at the end I was tempted to try. I told myself to try once and see what will happen next. I invested a small sum of money, shared together with my mom and two sisters. At first, it looked good but unfortunately, the money just disappeared. I couldn't even logged in to my account and site seems to be closed forever. That is definitely a good lesson to me.

I am so sorry that you lost money on something that was referred to you by someone in this community. I firmly believe we should not be here looking for referrals for programs other than those we know are legitimate.

hello vanities,
sorry to hear about that experience, i am glad that you only invest a small amount - still it is not a good thing to lose something be it big or small.
i am always skeptical bout sites that sounds too good to be true and to those that ask for money just to register and earn a few, just dont make sense to me so i just delete those and dont even bother to be part of.
our world seem to be so desperate to get something from others, it is too sad coz they are targeting the vulnerable ones who are just looking for better ways to earn. i wish they target the big companies BUT fact is they see the low ones as the best target for their hidden agenda.
anyway, thanks for the heads up and for informing all of us out here bout that site it sure is helpful. i know i am not gonna join on it but still knowledge is power and that is a good way to have it - from those who have experienced it.
btw, how about your friend? did she lose her money as well or she get it back before it turns out to ashes.
have a good one!

Wow!!!! That is terrible! I have seen a lot of those programs around lately. The ones that the longer you leave the money in the more you "supposedly" get. I have seen and considered them, but I am so glad that you warned everyone about it!
How are they supposed to pay you? Paypal, Alertpay, check? You can always make a complaint with the payment source if it's paypal or some other online payment site.
If you haven't placed a complaint you should do it asap. At least get your original money back.

You should place a complaint with e-gold. Request a refund, that should get the scammers attention!

Hello dear vanities. I have also been invited to another investment site, but it seems that it is working smoothly as the amount of dollars I have invested is always increasing daily. But the final result will be able to be judged whether it is a good one or a cheating one when I reach the minimum of fifteen dollars to get transferred to my account, including the dollars I have deposited. I hope that it is a trustworthy one. But I am sorry for the site that you turned your account into zero. Have you ever contacted to the administrator for this, please? I hope that this problem encountered will be or has been fixed since this discussion was posted two weeks ago with good luck.

i'm so sorry to hear what happened to you my friend. that will be a lesson to everybody. well, i don't invest online. i don't know, but i am afraid to lose something. we never know who runs the site, so we have nothing to do if we are scammed or something.

I was reading an online forum where the admin for the site was actually promoting it and to my dismay it seems some people got credited and some didn't and he failed to sell his e-gold to another exchange after pocketing the money and the site then got suspended. I was looking into the investing kind of thing- i have to think over it again!!

well you must think hundred times before doing that..i mean investing..i for one will never invest any money here online even though how credible this can be...just imagine in our county there is no law yet being passed for this kind of scam thing..so i can assume that this will still continue..just hoping that people here(online people)will stop investing to any site..so that this scam will stop..

hi vanities.
yes i've been there too. same as you, referred by by online friends.
i am not saying that we can't trust online friends, but the thing is, we never know.
yes i got scammed too, and it took me a while to the bank, since i used my credit then. they do pay people to join sites like to these to scout for potential victims, then email you regarding of such online business or money making schemes. lets not mention the site, mahirap na, we don't know who's who.
anyways, we've learn, the hard way for that matter.
so far, myLot, isn't asking any payment or what. just a bit of sacrifice uploading discussions, comments and responses, like what we are doing now will do. i've joined other forum type sites this but it does not pay, well i haven't got any so far, but i do enjoy participating.
so needless to say, type as many discussion, comments and responses as you and you're on your way to making money (i hope). konting sacrifice lang ang kailangan sis, yun lang ang puhunan.
regards...
