This is my passion - so I find no problem sitting in front of the computer for hours. I used to have no computer at all in my work place few years back. But now they have arranged for a computer. So, in my office, I constantly sit before the computer, and at home - I keep my PC turned on always barring 3-4 hours at night.
BTW, I'm in secretariat services in a purely Govt. Department, and it is totally different from what I love to do more, i.e., Website Design & Publishing.

Hi,nilzerous1!Actually I am now in my office.My job is system analyse and I have no interest in it.I have attend a test of civilian in the gov. last week,and I am waiting the result now.The position I applied also need to face the computer all day.The reason I dislike the computer is I think it may effect my health.Have you ever think about that?Your eyes,avoirdupois and any other enginety of your body?Sorry for my poor English.

First of all, your English communicates the message well, so never feel low for that. Secondly, I take a break after an hours of work and take moderate free hand exercised in the morning. So I do not really have felt any problem regarding my health.

hello, rytnlxm. I noticed you on a post: "write to write". I will be a junior next month. As I am on my summer vacation, I spend about 5 hours a day, usually in the evening.
MYLOT is a good place to learn English and different ways of thinking as one can immerse himself into the language.

Hi,renee0909.It is a fortunate thing to have a long vacation like you.I have graduated from college,and the only happiness are the everyday walk after work and communicate with people from all the world on mylot.There is a sentence effect me a lot"The interspace of you die on how many places you visite,and the lifetime of you lie on how many significatives thing you do."Neither the time nor the economy situation allows me to travel,so I began my trip on mylot.Thank you for your advice.

The answer would depend on how much you hope to earn. Farming is an occupation in which computers can be used, but they are not required. Manufacturing clothing is another occupation - making clothes for people to wear. This can be done with a computer - selling clothes online at a place like eBay - or it can be done offline in a clothing boutique or something along those lines.

Hi,highlyclever.I am a employee in a manufactory,and my job is system analyse.So the only thing I need to do in my work place is sit before the laptop and help the others to solve the mistake they have made in use the information system.The payment is fixed and very low.It is clearly to see that you spend a lot time before the computer ,right?Thank you for sharing.

I am usually online for 4 hours but thats because the man is never around nor takes me out anymore these days doesnt spend time with me like how he used to so I spend it on the computer.

Well, i currently don't have a job and I'm a full time student so between trying to make extra cash online and doing my college homework and such...I'm on the computer A LOT! haha

I miss the time when I am still a student.This mouth is the busiest bmonth in my life.Get up in six A.M. and on the computer everyday is a annoying thing for me.But there is also gains such as communicate with friends all over the world like you.Thank you for sharing.

nowadays i will face computer over 10 hours.but i don't think it's very bad.i have used to faceing computer.but it seems that all the women hate computers.
