Is anyone else being booted off Mylot when you post?

Greetings to all,
I haven't been Mylotting for awhile and dropped by today to catch up on responses and visit friends' sites. In 5 out of the ten responses I made I've been booted off Mylot when I click on the response. It takes me back to where we registered as new Mylotters.
I can still sign in under my slogan and password and the strange thing is sometimes the response is still there. Thankfully I have trained myself to copy BEFORE I post ANYTHING...because I used to have my fair share of fricking frack when I put time and energy into a response or discussion and then Mylot would either time out or something like this would occur.
Anyhow, that is my little tale of woe. I'd appreciate any feedback about what is going on or if you have had anything similar happen with you. This kind of thing used to happen upon occasion...but 5 out of ten boots...enough already!
Thanks in advance,
Raia

In the past week I've heard at least 10 other mylotters talk about this same thing. I don't know why it is doing that, because I haven't had a bit of trouble. It seems very strange that it is doing it only to select few, but also odd because it is more than just one or two.

Hello...
From the three comments so far it is clear I am not the only one that is having this problem. The only thing that is NOT clear is why. Perhaps others here will have a solution.
I appreciate your input...thanks for offering it.

Yes, my dear friend, I sure am getting the boot around here a lot.
I don't like the new system logging me out every five minutes.
It's a good thing the response is still there or I'd probably get fed up and not come around at all.
hugs, ciao

I'm glad to hear you both are doing well.
Weekends are a good time to reach me for the most part, especially now that school is back in session. Family & friends have kept me really busy this summer. Unfortunately my newly found godchild is a mess, but we're working on it with her.
Things have been crazy at work too...just got my 3rd promotion in 8 months 3 weeks ago. I'm now in charge of the dectivation-chargeback reports. Fun-fun :D
Didn't you say you and David would be in Indiana sometime this year? If so, I'd love to meet up and visit in person. That would be great!
Feel free to give me a call, I'd love to hear from you.
Take care, gf!!
*many hugs*

Hi again,
I think of you often and haven't been on Mylot much all summer. Sorry it has taken me a month to respond to you. From the sound of it your life is as hectic as ever. I love the way you just keep on keeping on.
I would love to visit with you in person if we are ever Indiana bound. We have been sticking pretty close to home with the cost of gas and working on our business ventures. I will try to give you a call sometime in October. I'd love to chat on a more regular basis but as a friend of mine always say..."life happens!"
David and I are happier and healthier than ever and renewing our vows this weekend in a Celebration of Love and Friendship gathering. We've been sprucing up the house and yard and been busy with all of that. Once we have some breathing space I sincerely plan to connect by phone.
Thanks for keeping in touch my friend.
Big huggers to you!

I haven't been here much today. My friend, David and I hung out together for most of the day. We chatted and relaxed on the deck and the hot, dry weather is really keeping the bugs and mosquitoes down...and that is great. Manitoba mosquitoes are legendary...annoying blood suckers that they are!
We are having friends out from Winnipeg Tuesday so I won't be around here then either. The rest of the week is less busy and I plan to visit and chat as much as I can.
Have a good night's sleep...and I can appreciate that you might not be wrapping yourself up in those angel wings withe the kind of heat you're having...of course there are the energetic ones...they are well ventilated. (smiles)
Huggers...

Hi, thanks for your prompt response. Yes, it is time to "knock on wood." I was getting frustrated after the 3rd time it happened. By the 5th time there was a big GRRRRR factor.
As I mentioned it was less than it would have been had I not copied everything before hitting the "post comment!"
Anyway, I guess we will find out if it is randomized...or whether there are others here experiencing the same thing.

i couldnt wait until first star, then to be able to use emoticons but really now, i cna not wait until i have 500 posts because i am so fed up and annoyed at loosing discussions i have done.. for me to copy and paste still means i have to type it out again from a notepad which is such a hassle..
Think i should just start responding to anything and everything just to get myself to 500 lool

Ahh...what a lovely thing for you to say. Thanks for those positive kudos...I love sharing Perspectives with you too Polly...and that we shall.
Yes, the little box seems to have fixed the problem. I was posting before then logged off to go for a walk with David and my gal-pal that moved from Winnipeg and is now our neighbor 4 door down. Great to have something from our old stomping grounds in our neck of the woods. She loves rural life as much as we do!
Good to be back in the flow of lovely exchanges with you my friend.
Warm and loving regards,
Raia

Before the changes MyLot made I never had a problem with it, but since the updating of the site, if I put a long amount of effort into a reply, I get timed out and have to sign in again once I press the post button. So far I have been lucky and once I sign in again my response is still there, but it is starting to get annoying to have to copy my entire response, just cause I'm not sure when MyLot will boot me again.
Me thinks, before MyLot is over-ran with non-sense discussion again, MyLot needs to get in there and up the time out time. So we are able to continue with our thought provoking discussions and responses, since eventually those that do put time and effort into their discussions and responses will become discouraged and possibly leave the site.
I can deal with it for now, but usually once I post something I want to move along to the next, not deal with signing in over and over again.

It's nice seeing you again as well my dear friend.
I did read about the "remember me" suggestion, tried it out this morning and have been logged in ever since 9am. With exception of having to restart cause my computer decided to lock up on me, but that was my fault tried to force it into doing to much all at once..lol!
I've only be active again over the last couple of days. Had a helping hand with the kids last week, so was able to get business things caught up and current. So now have some extra time on my hands. So trying not to make to much of a pest of myself while I'm here .
Things here are going well, thanks for the thought. Hope all is well with you and your family as well.

Yeah things were getting pretty scary there for awhile, but with the help of a few friends online and off I was able to hold my sanity in place. My neighbor is doing better, she still has limited use of her right leg, but has been going to therapy and I've been going on walks with her, to get it's strength back. It's slowly getting better, but she still has a long recovery ahead of her. Our money/work situations are getting better too, so happy that things are looking up.
Haven't had much in the way storms since those we got back in January and February, just a whole lot of drenching rain, that I don't mind so much, saves on the water bill since I have not had to water my flower garden as much this summer.
The MyLot community has been very helpful for me too, at times that I am in need of it the most. People are really friendly to boot, and it's what keeps me coming back when I am able to. Though I don't like being out of touch with friends, sometimes well life happens. But it is just as great to catch up with them again when things are set right to.
Hugs to you my friend.

Our bond is important to me too...and whenever we connect there is such a lovely resonance and kinship. It is great that we seem to be away...then come back at similar times and that gives us a chance to touch in and catch up. What a blessing!
I am finding the same thing since using the remember me box...I logged off to go for a walk and then came back and I have not had any problems again. We all belong to a very special on-line community and I value the way people reach out to offer help, care and suggestions to challenges.
It am glad to hear things have improved. You sure had a lot on your plate with your neighbor's accident, the scary weather, your hubs employment. You and your family are due for some happy, healthy experiences. I sincerely with that for you and more of the best life has to offer.
Sending lots of love and light...

I have been having some problems also. Not the same as you but what is happening to me is Mylot is loading really slow and timing out a lot. Sometimes I have to keep hitting the refresh button until it comes back on. Thankfully I haven't lost any postings but I also copy and paste before I post so it wouldn't be a problem if it did. I thought it was just my slow dial up. :)

Hello my dear friend :):):):) SO nice to see you here - not that I have been much here LOL
I haven't noticed anything like you are describing, but as I said I really haven't been here regularly so I probably would miss it.
HOpe the problem is solved for you already, Raia, and that you're able to log in and stay logged.
Big hug

Ahh...what a lovely, warm greeting back. Thank you...and big huggers to you too! I have missed being here too....but like you "life happens" and it is not always possible.
Glad to have you drop by and offer your input and encouragement. Hope things are going better for you, your daughter and mother-in-law. We haven't chatted in awhile...but I do think of you.
I am glad we keep in touch as minimal as it has been of late. We have a good connection going and always seem to pick up right where we left off. If there is anything you need...send me a PM or e-mail and I will be happy to assist if I can.
Wishing you and yours many light filled blessings,
Raia

I started a discussion on this the other day. Sadly, I was in a hurry and put it under the wrong interest by accident. Thankfully, I did get a couple of responses.
I have been told to tick the remember me box when I log in. I tried doing that, and presto! No problems at all. i think I have been logged in all day now and not been booted off once!
You should try doing that and see if it works for you.

Hello and thanks for the suggestion. You are the third person that has mentioned that doing that changed the GRRRRR factor of being booted off. I tried it today...and so far...so good.
I always appreciate input from members I haven't chatted with...so thanks a heap for adding your experiences. I hope it works out for me as well as it is for you.
Cheers,
Raia

It is always great to have here and you are missed when you aren't but what a pain that this always happens to you-you must lose out on earnings etc and mainly to be able to talk to all your friends here, have you asked mylot why this happens? It isn't fair on you or anyone else who is here to have to go through all that rigmarol to come back=perhaps we should all get onto them bout it I may send a message asking why this happens.
However my dear freind it is great to have you back and hope that doen't happen to you again many blessings littleowl

This has happened to me a few times and I do find it in fact very annoying. The worst thing about this is that it mostly happens to me when I write really long responses.

perspectives check the box remember me and you will not'
ever be booted off again. just as simple as that, I have never
been booted off yet I see all these others who have and my
guess is none of you check that box remember me, check it
and your problems will be over.

Greetings Hatley...and a big congratulations to you for reaching the 10,000 credit club! Good work. At the rate I post it will take me years to get there. I have been a member for a year and am just past the 2,000th. Oh well, it is not a contest but I do admire those who spend time here and are such valued members of the community. You hold it together for those of us who cannot be here as often.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I tried it today and so far...so good. Lets hope it continues!

This thing happened to me many times..it usually happens when we are idle for more than 5 minutes so the account automatically logs off. You are lucky that you can do copy paste but i am not lucky enough as i can't do copy paste unless i reach 500 posts..

Hi Ricky...
From what I reading in the responses here this is a fairly widespread problem. Bluebejewelled suggested that Mylot increase the time out time before logging us off. Some of us are more long winded than others and perhaps that is one solution.
Other members have suggested checking the "remember me" box and I did that today and have not been booted off so far. Maybe that is the simple fix we are looking for.
When I look at your credits you are only 75 from the finish line...keep on keeping on...you are not that far from achieving your goal. Being able to copy before positing does cut down the annoyance factor a lot. I have trained myself to ALWAYS copy before posting...because the very time I do not...is the time I lose the content.
Thanks for you input and good luck with reaching the big 500!
Raia
