When I intend to retire I would be living my remaining days to the fullest still, and concentrate more in my family life, and grow old beautiful. What do you intend to do with your life when you retire? from work, managing your business, or from being a star?

This is a nice discussion... When i retire... i want to be able to travel a lot... go to places that i have always wanted to go to... specifically other countries... alone or with a close relative... and if i am not travelling... i want to volunteer working in an orphanage... since i think that is the best way to spend my idle time...

You would fully enjoy your finances when you are young, when your bones are still strong to enjoy life.

Yes it is really the time to be yourself and not think about work anymore. It is the time to pamper yourself and congratulate yourself for being a good worker. it is the time for you to enjoy your family too. For all those neglected times because of your job this is the time to find the time they truly deserve.

That is so nice. But is there an instance that you wanted to do the things that you most do when you are not yet retired?

To my mind retirement is much the same, life will go on the same ,but work will not enter the equation ,and we wil lbe able to spend more time together, which on the whole would be a pleasant thing.I dont want to have a wild retirement, and if I can manage the odd holiday and the odd treat ,then all well and good, but you just have to learn how to adapt.

Retiring indeed does not really mean we stop to work, doing something is really continuous. It could be a boring retirement life.

I wish to be with my family in the province when I retire. I still do some good stuff here in the internet, and mylot if and I wish we still exist. Our home will stand by the sea. So everytime I do my stuffs here, I do it in the terrace watching the waves while the sun sets. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

I hope too! Going to where you were from is the most extraordinary experience in life.

I think that I would love to take a few years off and sit on a beach somewhere and watch the ocean waves... but then I remember that I sunburn very easily, and so my retirement dream starts to vanish... (LOL) When I retire, I would like to take the opportunity to read and write more.

Being in the ocean will definitely encourage you to read and write, you would be retiring from a previous thing, but your writing career would start. That is great.
