my son has byhearted psalm 23

yesterday as the family members sat for prayer, my son surprised me by saying psalm 23 without opening the bible, he is only 7, i am really proud of his effort, what shd i give him as a gift?

I learned it when I was 11 and I still do memorize it until know. It is nice to introduce children verses from the Bible, because it gives us wisdom.

Its very good to encourage your son to read the bible and follow it. You can give him some small gifts for now so that he feels happy. But as time goes on he will read the bible for himself rather than for the gifts. Its nice to guide them spiritually so that they have bonding with God.

that is terrific, in my family we also learned bible verses as children. but it was something that was the thing to do. as for a reward? we usually didn't get anything, but once we were given a little money.
