i don't honestly think in todays world that the world could survive without the internet, i know that it use to in the older days but it seems like everything is centered around the internet now..i mean the groceries, cars, trips...it just seems liek everything has to depend on the internet and even work most times now...so i just don't really know if the world could survive with out the internet or not...so i was just wanting to know what all of you think about this, do you think that the world could survive without the internet? thanks for taking the time to read my discussion and i hope that you all have a great night tonight!

The world would fall apart without the internet. The good old days were the good old days but now is now. pretty much everything we do now is linked in some way to the internet. That goes for business, fun, pleasure, sorrow, friendship and so on and so on. The world maybe would recover but it would take a few lifetimes. Dale

If you mean the planet, it managed for 4.55 billion years without it. If you mean society, it managed a mere 10,000 years of recorded history or so without it. I think we'd struggle along somehow.
