Why do we close our eyes when we kiss?

when we open our eyes we unerstand others feeling when we close our eyes we enjoy our feeling and the warmth of our friend happu postings

because it's rude to stare when kissing! hehehe

I believe it has a lot to do with trust. If you really like the person you are kissing and you trust them you close your eyes. If you ever kiss anyone you aren't "in to" and don't really trust, you won't close your eyes.

I think aside from making the act more intense, it is also instinct for people to close their eyes while kissing. Maybe subconsciously, people know keeping their eyes open would make the other person lose their momentum or be conscious of the way they kiss.

Hi my friend, I notice the same thing too. I tend to close my eyes when I kiss my hubby. I do occasionally open my eyes and notice my hubby has his eyes closed to. I have no answer for the question as to why we do it. lol Happy MyLotting, Char

If you don't close your eyes, then you'd get cross-eyed looking at your boyfriend's face just an inch away from your face. That's just how the eye works whenever something gets too close.
