I caught this series quite by accident since I haven't been watching a lot of TV lately. Very interesting... Imagine there are a million ways to solve crime. Unfortunately, here in the Philippines they still use the basics and hardly crack a case... Do you enjoy Numb3rs?

Hi! I did follow the series but along the way I drifted off. Got too busy with real life and other things and there are of course other shows. I was able to watch the first season in whole and after that I only get to watch some episodes of the following seasons. I loved the idea that there are ways that numbers can really be applied that we didnt even think of. It just shows that mathematics is not just numbers but can actually be applied to real life and in real situations. You just need to do some substitution and things then go for the more complicated solutions. To tell you honestly one of the reasons I drifted off watching it is that my initial reason for watching the show is the mathematical applications to the cases but after a while the show started to focus more on the police side of things and sometimes Charlie has only few scenes. But the good thing about the latest is that it kinda balances the lives of Charlie and Don so that they both get airtime and with them their fascinating stories that comes together with numbers.

Yes, I do hope they highlight the use of math more in the series... because there already are several crime series on TV. Thanks for responding.
